Sanam was always very level headed and intelligent and that was the best feature about her. She was not at all OTT. They deliberately didn't make her too bubbly coz they wanted to differentiate her with Zoya. She was cute and even a little bubbly in Punjab, but not too much. She had the "serious" nature of Asad and was not an "Ammi Clone!". I loved that about her.Even after knowing about Tanveer, she didnt go all guns blazing to Aahil and yelling in a "screechy" voice that Tanveer is an awful women and HE needs to trust her! NO. She knew that wont work because of the way Tanveer had brainwashed Aahil for years into thinking what a sacrificing Mahaan Nari she was! So she even bore Aahil's rejection after their second wedding and didn't tell him about Seher, coz she knew she and Seher had to keep that advantage.THAT was the sort of girl Sanam was. So to now be faced with this screechy women, is so off putting. Yes Sanam was never interested in being a "simple happy go lucky house wife!". But now it seems that is all she cares about, and has lost her whole personality as well. So indeed it is sad that we lost another much loved character Sanam along with Rehan and Seher as well!
Nailed It. Absolutely Nailed It. But Sanam hiding Seher from Aahil, even after Aahil coming to know the truth about Rehaan being Tanveer's Son was redundant. Tanveer herself accepted that Rehaan is her son. Had Rehaan opened his mouth and told Aahil about his Ammi's deceiving nature Aahil would have compelled to think other wise because No Son in his right mind would defame his own Mother. Then Sanam and Seher could have come in front of Aahil to further prove their point and to show Aahil that how his Dearest Ammi has been playing games with him. But their mistake of keeping quiet and hiding things from Aahil is the main reason behind Rehaan's Death. Had they spilled beans on Tanveer while they had the advantage they would have saved the life of Rehaan and Seher and all this unnecessary Kidnapping Drama and Fakistan Track.
