Karan Johar is all praise for Humari Adhuri Kahani trailer

Filmmaker Karan Johar has praised the yet to be officially released trailer of Emraan Hashmi-starrer "Humari Adhuri Kahani", calling it "compelling".

Johar, 42, took to Twitter to laud the trailer and the film's director Mohit Suri.

"Saw the compelling and dramatic trailer of @mohit11481's #humariadhurikahani...His command over emotions is unbelievable... Will be out soon," Johar tweeted.

The romantic saga, also starring Vidya Balan, is produced by Mahesh Bhatt's Vishesh Films.

His director daughter Pooja Bhatt, who has seen the rough cut of the movie, also heaped praise on her father and Mohit.

"Had the privilege of watching the rough cut of Humari Adhoori Kahaani...It made me weep!Thank you @mohit11481 & @MaheshNBhatt for this GEM!" she tweeted.

The film is scheduled for release on June 12.

Mohit Suri at the very least knows how to market his movies. His movies have fabulous music as well.

I can see this taking a fantastic opening as well owing to the trailers and the music just like last years Ek Villian.

Isnt Bollywood biggest mutual admiration society. They keep gushing about each others work and keep returning the favour. Aapas me hi they make promo and movies blockbuster and epic ,janta jai bhaad me... Its stupid and amusing at the same time. Not talking about this movie but the general and eternal bonhomie celebs share on twitter land.

OT: I hope the movie delivers for both Vidya and Emraan.

I wouldn't lie but I agree with you. They praise each other as a returned favour. So sometime, you cannot really rely on their opinion.

but as far as Humari Adhuri Kahani and Mohit Suri's filmmaking is concerned, we can no doubt expect GOOD CINEMA. HAK is not a film made out of hurry, Mohit Suri has put in a lot of effort in this. It has been revising since the last 3-4 years until it finally went on floors. Mohit is a very underrated film maker. He rules the romance genre. He portrays true love so deeply that it leaves an impact. Mohit knows what he is doing, but he fails at promotion. It's like he doesn't give a damn about promoting his work.. he just puts it out there, and expects people to watch it.

I honestly have so many expectations with Humari Adhuri Kahani.. it's the man behind the camera.. his work is worth giving a chance,,, plus the music is expected to be a rage as 3 amazing monsters in music have given the music.

Emraan can act...

Vidya can act..

Mohit Suri..

Arijit, Mithoon, Ankit and Jeet giving music..

Humari Adhuri Kahani can surely be this years surprise.. hope I'm not wrong..

I'm sooo excited! the title just makes me want to watch it right awayyy 😆
