KY2 Music

Fab 5 is supposed to be a happening rock band but in the show they make them play outdated bollywood songs and it looks so fake 👎🏼 This is supposed to be the no. 1 youth show and couldn't the makers invest some money on a band?

Worst was fusion concert. I heard that song for the first time and it wasn't at all suiting the situation and what was utkarsh doing? 🤣

They should have a band hired or else at least they should use only songs sung by one singer so that it looks somewhat real.

Yeah its not suiting n that too this isn a typical show either. Its a musical youth show n I remember the prelims of musicana where NH3 had sung on koi mil gaya from kkhh which was so old n it looked so tacky n seriously they won the first prize for it? 🤣 and space is a music academy but r they teaching their students to imitate movie singers instead of coming up with their own songs? it may sound trivial but such small things make a huge difference. The best part abt remix was their own songs. Even they could have made do with bollywood numbers but they did something creative n it paid off. To be honest those days shows made less money n considering the fame of ky2 it shdn be difficult for the makers to do the same.

That episode of NH3 winning musicana prelims I have not seen. But I agree that they should show some songs which are only made for kyy. Remix was fun but I haven't seen that show's all episodes as I was in school.

You make a good point - I think that the makers missed a trick here & yes they could have featured some fresh talent that wrote their own songs. FAB 5 have the appearance of a rock band - so it was fine that they had to replicate some Bollywood music & some of the songs are really good especially when we have the Mannan scenes but when they chose the "soppy" music LIKE EVERY OTHER DRAMA on TV - that definitely dragged the show down & looked as if the makers were in a hurry rather than chose the music with strategy.
