Is that criteria? Then definitely Amitabh Bachchan. To be at his age and still be in demand, and demand the kind of love and respect that he has, is beyond amazing to me. He truly is a living legend.
But if the criteria is in terms of having a lot of influence on film makers and producers in terms of casting or budget etc then I don't know. Maybe Aamir Khan, and I say good for him. I think he has that influence due to the reputation that he has built for himself as an actor.

Still he has the no 1 movie in India on his filmography

Amitabh Bachchan doesn't need any more hits or flops to prove himself. And the criteria I guess is most impact in popular culture. Their films, their legacy, etc. Aamir Khan is powerful, all his movies make moneyand haven't flopped in quite sometime. š
