a pleasant change in a son's characterisation

In most Hindi soaps , the son is always supporting the mother and the wife silently undergoes the mil torture. But in very few soaps I have seen the son take on the mother and being protective of his wife. In that way Rajat sareen is a pleasant change.his becoming overprotective of his wife who he knows will not speak for herself ,in the larger interest of the family, against his mother is a wonderful and nice change from the routine scripting . The men are usually silent watchers till the mil realises the daughter in law 's worth themselves but not Rajat sareen. Yesterday's precap was awesome too. The Anu Rajat relationship in the last four days is also being potrayed well. Rajat giving the impression that anu is the only one who has the hold over him and who can influence him to do anything,Anu consoling him and trying to prevent him from staring a fight with his mother,trying to comfort him by acting as if is she is not much affected by his mother antics and also in her own way trying to shield him from the house politics and for once giving him more attention than dev or anyone else, are all nice departures . I hope cvs continues this line and develops the Anu Rajat relationship into a much stronger and deeper one and also shows the son changing the mother's attitude instead of the daughter in law or her good deeds. If it does ,I think it will be a nice departure for a Hindi soap.

Well said.when ever we do something wrong we ourself know that we r wrong somewhere our inner consious make us feel that we r wrong wheather we accept it or not. But in case of minty I don't understand how could she justify her act just by saying whatever she does is because she loves her son and want them happy. 😕

I would have liked the show better if Anu & Rajat had left but still kept in contact with

Sareens and helped them from time to time! There could have been dramatic

scenes then also! But a good bahu must live under the same roof as

her MIL even if it causes mental torture to herself & her hubby!🤢

This time Rajat has been deeply affected by his mothers deeds. Never in his life could he have imagined that his mother was capable of such malice. Even though he was aware of his mothers intense dislike towards his wife he never for a second thought that his mother would stoop so low. This change of behaviour towards his mother is pretty much fitting.
