Apt post Purnima. Finally I got to see the epi and I have to say it was worth it. The first epi was quite balanced and appropriate. It was very important that they first focus on the "professional" part of the show i.e. how work is done in news channels and the technical intricacies of it. The whole hospital scene and marriage scene might seem a bit boring but it was necessary to show this to get the "technical" feel in place before we can move to the big clash between Ananya's ethics and Kabir's tactics. So I liked they kept the first epi low key in terms of any drama or emotion. It was majorly about how news are made.
Coming to the next important part - Rajeev and Kritika. Now where should I begin. My forever love is back on TV and HOW! Rajeev has shown in the very first epi that there can be no one who could do better justice to Kabir. Kabir needs to be guy next door YET heroic...he needs to be regular YET a star. And that's what Rajeev so beautifully portrayed. 😳
I certainly LOVED the differences brought about between the shrewd Kabir Sharma and the sweet and genuine Kabir and how these two appear so seamlessly. In one scene where he urges the sweeper to pose for him...he's so innocent and adorable where as in the very next one when he is talking to KKN's boss he is back to being his witty self. ;) Just loved this contrast and actually it will be Ananya who will fill in for this contrast between the two sides of Kabir's personality.
Coming to Kritika, I think she is the only actress who can pull off an OTT scene so well. She is so natural in these extrovert bubbly kind of roles that I cant just help but adore her.
All in all a nice first epi. But yes surely there seems some lacking in terms of screenplay and direction which I always feared knowing what a pathetic director Goldie behl is. So I just hope he works on these areas else the effort of the lead cast will go down the drain.

Me too like the normal human Kabir 😊😊 just because he is the lead as a character he is not made look filmy & heroic 😊😊 Kabir is confident about himself, & clear in his work 😊😊
Where he needs to be shrewd he is, where he wants to be helpful he is ...in case of Nandlal 😊😊 the transition is smooth, in short he is smart enough to get his work done 😃
It wud be intresting to see how a news is being made from scratch, amount of hardwork & research goes into to make a news 😊😊..until its just a gossip 😆😆😆
It will take me time to accept & imagine Kabir-Ananya as romantic pair 😛😃😃 ...i want to see how gradual process their love story wud be 😊😊...comparatively workplace drama interests me more 😛😛
