an idea has crossed my mind regarding this os.. so i am penning it down.. if you guys don't appreciate it very well, i'll stop writing.. here's the os.. really do hope you like it.. 😃

AJEEB DASTAAN HAI YEH

ZINAGI WINS ONE-SHOT

it was hardly night, and aaliya was already exhausted.. she had volunteered for a 24 hour non-stop duty.. but coming to think of it, she was already tired.. she sat in her cabin all exhausted when she heard a knock at the door..

"Come in." she muttered holding her head in her hands..

"hey." ishaan walked inside the door.. aaliya raises her head to see him..

"tum ghar nahi gaye?" [you didn't go home?]

"tum bhi toh nahi gyi." [you didn't go, too]

"arre i am on 24 hour duty. malvika ko impress krne ke liye pta nahi kya kya krna padega. anyways tum btao, tum kyu nahi gye?"

"meri bhi duty hai."

"emergency patients sycho's ke paas nahi jaate."

"i can help with other things, too."

"like what?"

"like bringing you food." ishaan sets a plastic bag on the table.. aaliya looks at him with wide eyes.. he smirks at her..

"you didn't."

"i did." he grins.

should i continue?

Err...this was supposed to be an OS right? As in one shot?
N why d cliffhanger? ...

"oh thank you, ishaan. you don't have any idea how hungry i am. really, thank you." aliya takes the food and launches into it.

"oh no, its nothing." sits beside aliya and starts admiring her. yeh tujhe kya hogya hai ishaan, you can't freakin cheat on malvika! he thought to himself. but, it's not like you're cheating on her or something, is it?

"now, hows it going on with you and malvika?"

"matlab?"

"your fight, is it over yet?"

"oh that, no worries about that aliya. it'll be alright. i am sure!"

"right.. ok.. yeah i need your help in a case."

"sure." ishaan moves closer to aliya as she takes out her case file.

"there's this patient, shreya padelkar, she's severely injured. it's a case of dowry harrasment. uski head injury hui hai. it's pretty serious. her parents, mr. and mrs. padelkar, they're coming tomorrow. and i don't know who told them that shreya is all fine now. if they see her in this condition, they'll break down. any suggestions, dr. ishaan?"

"oh.. was there any helper?"

"we don't know yet. the police is still trying their best for that. but we need all the luck in the world to find out what the damn person did and why."

"it's a dowry case, simple."

"it's NOT simple, ishaan. look, we talked to the guy's parents and they said that they had absolutely no issues with the girl's family not giving the dowry rate. they didn't believe in dowry, that's what they said."

"and u think they are-"

"Yes."

"why?"

"ishaan, there is no family in which there is a boy and the family doesn't want dowry, in the world! so i am pretty much sure that this is it. they boy and the family are hiding the case from us. they mistreated the girl to death, from which she was luckily saved."

"what do we do now?"

"we wait. but there is not only this matter, ishaan."

"what is it, then?"

"ishaan we need to bring her out of her misery. she feels at guilt. that she was the reason for her parents unsuccessful relationship and the reason for HER unsuccessful relationship."

"and you need me to do that?"

"pretty much."
