Why Sandhya Couldn't

Sandhya told Ved every good thing about Suraj.. Ved is convinced that Sooraj is the best person/papa..
But still he is not willing to accept his father's profession.. Why?

Sandhya told Ved that Suraj is a Halwai.. So what.. He is the best person from the heart..
He helped his siblings.. He took care of house from the age of 14.. He helped her in becoming IPS..

But did she tell that Halwai job is not bad.. She was agreeing that having Halwai profession is not good.. How could ved have understood that nothing is wrong in being Halwai..

That is the reason he is not willing to reveal his father's profession.. 😭

Sandhya should have explained why being Halwai is not bad.. How important role a halwai plays in other's life.. 😳

I felt the same too Anjana. She showed empathy which is not bad but that convinced him to love his dad despite him being a halwai. That was Sandhya too. She accepted him for his other qualities. Instead, she could have explained more about the situation at home when he was 14 and how he embraced his father's profession with pride. Worked hard to become the best In his profession. How his job is what provides mainly for the family. ( Although Sandy's job is extremely important public service, salary wise, it is modest. ) Sandhya's heart was in the right place and she did highlight Suraj's good qualities which are important for Ved to know and emulate too. So in that way, she did help. The kids often take their parents for granted and not realize the sacrifices they make. I want Suraj to do the same & make Ved realize Sandy's patriotism, bravery, sacrifice and honesty. Ved should come closer to his mom too. Suraj is a bit possessive of Ved like BB is of him. I guess that is because he has been mom and dad both to him.

At the same time she also told him about how even she felt that a halwai's job was low but later realized how good he was. In all this she left out the fact that she had to tell him Halwai job was not low but like any other profession. In a single day Ved learnt 2 things.

1. Even his mother felt Halwai job is low profile one

2. It is not bad if you lie for a good reason.

So when he had to deliver his essay about his father, he used both the things that he felt halwai is low, so he told the lie that he owns a big hotel (to save himself from the embarrassing situation) but had he told the hotel name as "Rati Mistan bhandar" at least it would have saved him from being embarrassed later.

Hmm you are correct Anjana. But I felt Sandhya was more worried about Ved distancing himself from Suraj because of halwai profession when he told what his schoolmates said "halwai stinks, their clothes will be dirty" etc. So, she told what all we heard along with a line "no profession will be small or big". As of now she is thinking Ved is back to normal and is fine with halwai profession. She is yet to know he is running away in the fear of getting insulted and started lieing about his fathers profession.

I think whatever Sandy said about Suraj was very complete, not only about his profession but about his nature too.

I don't agree to this..
Why being halwai should be funny.. This is the thinking we should take out from our minds.. No profession is funny/great.. All are great at their place.. No one should feel bad about their profession..
Just to make other happy, why one should hide himself, what he is and what he want to be..

I loved Ved chose Halwai.. But he is a child and will be easily effected.. Children should be taught/learn at this age only.. Otherwise Ved after being adult will feel the same about being halwai and hate his father and all other halwai's or people in similar profession..

in other sense she did right.. 😆
If Ved would have understood everything at that time only, how would we get to see drama.. 😆😆
