Just because you are a senior citizen, you automatically don't become a wise man. After watching Champak I can say that with conviction.
Yes, I watched the episode where Champak takes a decision to keep Khushi with them. So I am commenting only based on that episode.

This man who calls himself ' bujurg', did he even bother to ask Jetha whether he agrees with Daya and would like to keep Khushi with them? If they have to become parents to a child, it should be a decision of both father and mother. Here Champak calmly decided on his own. Arre it is a big decision. Does Jetha want this additional responsibility from his heart? It is not question of money but investment of time, care, some more precious years and great responsibility of raising another child. Champak, when you are head of the family, you may take decisions but it is also your duty to ask opinion of everyone in the household and then reach a decision.
This man who constantly preaches, calls other people as Bhindi master, Mehtus, Popatiya or something else to Popat(I forgot). Isn't that insulting? It is not that he does not know their names. What if his family was called Gadi ? Tapu will be up in arms then saying " mere dadaji ka apman karnewale ko nahi chodunga "

Daya is saying Khushi Gokuldham Society mein hi rahegi. I didn't see any other mahila offering to keep her with them. they were convincing her to find her mom. Fine, you love her, you can keep with you as your child. but then say she will stay with us. Don't take GD society's name.

Champak have always taken everyone for granted. I hate his attitude.
Loving an innocent baby and adopting a baby are two different thing. What will we do if we are given a sweet little child for a day ? Won't we cuddle her, play with her ? Its unfortunately is just a small step toward motherhood. Motherhood or parenthood is a vast subject. The question is will they able to give her equal time, care and love they give to Tappu once she grows up? What willl happen if Tappu is jealous of his new sister ?

Will Jetha like to have a daughter in real sense ? Is Daya a mother good enough for an adopted child considering a adopted child needs more help than the normal ones ?

Its not like I saw a beautiful thing and bought it. The child will have its own brain and though tprocess after sometime. Are they ready to have it in future considering their inability to handle Tappu brought Champak chacha to Mumbai ?

I think TMKOC should rather play with easier subjects. This kind of tracks aren't for them. By the way, when will this end ?

Did this happen for the first time?Everytime champak always takes a one sided decision and all his decisions favor the women as if the men have no identity.Yes,men indeed have no identity in the show.Their duty is to do jobs and earn money so that their wives will spend them in shopping, kitty parties and for parties and functions in the society.
In the new year track, champak only listened to the women's side of the story. He didn't listen to men's side of the story and decided to punish them. Before troubling them,at least he should have talked to them but No,he has to trouble them.
In the 1 lakh rupees track also he gave a lot of tension to bhide because madhavi told him to do so.Instead of asking money, why didn't he tell madhavi to sort it out by herself?
Now champak took this decision only for his Daya bahu who he loves and respects more than his son.I had written in one of my posts yesterday,in this society, sabki baat chalti hai except purush mandal ki.

He always takes ladies side no matter what. As long as they are happy, he is happy. Just like Tarak, he loves giving bhashan. No matter what Daya said, he should not have made final decision to keep baby with them without first notifying police. and its so amazing how he rules the house and insult jetha in front tappu, daya and other GD members and then give bhashan about indian sanskar, culture and values. Hypocrite man.
