Lovely ,That part where she kissed him and caught him by suprise was really cute 😳...Ahh Sanyukta has weaved her magic and Charm on him and this is making him go crazy ...am loving the mystery surrounding her and RD is hell bent on trying to unravel it and in the process feeling an extreme Pull towards her
Awsme This sanyukta character is increasing my curiosity with each update As much as rd wants to know her mystery we all r also dying to know it What's in her diary that she's hiding
Sanyukta avoided him for the next week, and soon Randhir stopped bothering too. Whenever he saw her, there was always someone around him, and he couldn't approach her... and she never took the initiative to find him.
He had really wanted to know what was going on with her, and why she was the way she was, but their exams were going on, so his attention was diverted.
Their final week of college flew by, and soon school ended, and they graduated. On the last day, after most people had gone home, Randhir stayed back to say bye to his professors. While he was leaving, he saw her at the basketball court. She was alone. So was he.
Randhir didn't know whether he'd see her again - what if she didn't come to graduation? So, he couldn't help but be pulled towards her.
As he approached her, she looked up at him and then immediately turned around to walk away.
"Wait... Sanyukta," he called out, causing her to stop in her tracks.
She turned around to face him.
"You've been avoiding me," he said matter-of-factly.
"I've just had things to do," she denied.
"You haven't answered my question... have you thought about it?" he asked her softly.
"Randhir school's over. We might be going to different places now," she told him.
"So?" he asked her. "You don't think we can make it work?"
"No," she said immediately, "Randhir you have a reputation."
"So do you," he pointed out.
"Yeah, except yours is true," she told him, "You play with girls, you take them to bed... everyone knows that."
"How do you know it's true?" he asked her, feeling a bit hurt by her accusation.
It was strange how something he felt so proud of was biting him now. It was weird how he was feeling hurt over something he thought defined him.
"Is it a lie?" she asked softly.
"No," he admitted. "It's not a lie."
"Then why do you want commitment Randhir? How do I know that I'm not one of those girls you are playing with?" she asked him.
She was right - he was playing with her. Except, he wasn't playing with her to sleep with her. He was playing with her to know about her. He had a deep sense of curiosity for what she was going through and why she was going through it.
"Where is your placement?" he asked her.
"Mumbai," she answered. "I'm working in Mumbai."
"I'll come there too," he told her confidently.
"What?" she asked him, sounding surprised. "How?"
"Don't worry, leave that to me. I'll come to Mumbai. Even though I have been placed in Delhi, I'll come to Mumbai and I'll prove to you that I'm worthy of you," he said. "Just give me some time."
She had tears in her eyes when he said that.
"Randhir you don't need to do any of that," she told him softly. "Please don't do anything for me."
He didn't know what was speaking from within him - he didn't know why he was doing all this to prove to a girl that he hated that he loved her... maybe because she called him out on being a player or maybe because she was not as easy as he originally thought she was, but in either case... his ego was being hurt. He didn't acknowledge another possibility... the possibility that he really didn't want to stay far away from her.
"I'll see you there," he told her with a smile.
Then he raised his hand to cup her cheek and her eyes closed, as tears fell from them. He stroked her cheek softly before turning around and walking away.
Randhir didn't know what had hit him - he felt like he had just caused his own downfall. He had no doubt in his mind that this was what he needed to do though... he just couldn't justify why.
