Chapter: 29

Ishita is sleeping peacefully in Raman protective embrace. He is thinking about how electrified he felt when the soft and sweet lips of his madrasan touched him. He is remembering the way his hands moved over her face which was replaced by his lips which touched her soft skin and wondering when he will be able to touch those luscious lips again of his JKR as she got scared of the intimacy. He is making a promise to her sleeping form don't worry I will cure you of this fear my lovely madrasan. He kisses her forehead finally surrendering himself to sleep.

Ishita gets up in the morning to see that she is still in Raman embrace she looks at her Ravan Kumar sleeping peacefully he looks handsome. She wants to kiss him good morning but was feeling shy to do it and was also afraid whether she would freeze again.

Raman watched the display of emotions and desire on her face with half-opened eyes he could see her dilemma and the fear in her face to make things easier for her he opened his eyes and told her I am expecting a good morning kiss from my wife. Ishita is happy that she gets to kiss him now but is still afraid. Raman says don't worry we will take it in your pace for now kiss me in the cheeks at least. Ishita happily obliges and kisses him on the cheek his rough stubble is grazing her soft lips which is creating havoc on her nerves she closes her eyes to enjoy the sensation and kisses him on the other cheek as well.

Raman is surprised by her second kiss he thought she will kiss him dutifully as he asked on one cheek but is happy that she is getting comfortable around him. His body is craving more from her but he strictly controls it as not to frighten her. He asks can I kiss you Ishita shyly nods her head and Raman places a kiss on her soft cheek. Ishita closes her eyes to feel the sensation of Raman lips touching her skin but Raman says to her open your eyes my love and see me Ishita opens her eyes due to his command but she gets overwhelmed to see that his eyes are filled with unfulfilled desires and love for her. She gets emotional and hides her face in his chest.

Raman still doesn't want to let her go but they spring apart when they hear a knock on the door. Ruhi is calling her Ishima from outside the room as it is locked. When Ishita open the door she asks why is your door locked today Ishita blushes but then tells her she must have accidentally locked it last night. Ruhi rushes into her papa waiting arms and plays with him calling her Ishima to come and join too meanwhile Adi is coming towards the room but is hesitant to go inside but Ishita pulls him inside the room. Raman asks Adi to save him from choti shernai, Ruhi asks Adi bhai you are on my side don't help papa. Adi goes towards Raman and joins with Ruhi to play with his papa. Raman is very happy today as his life is fulfilled with him waking up in his wife embrace and playing with both his kids in the morning. Ishita looks at them standing on the side of the bed with a smile on her face after few minutes she sends everyone to get ready for the day.

Ishita is busy in the kitchen preparing breakfast and lunch for everyone. Ishita is making Raman favorite paratha with the help of Simmi but whenever she tried to roll the dough into a round shape it was forming weird shapes for her. Rinki, Romi and Mihir are teasing Ishita on the funny shaped looking paratha she is bringing them Ishita laughs with them saying that if they don't close their mouth and eat their food they won't be even getting these funny looking parathas. Simmi sees that her bhai has come down for breakfast she doesn't want Ishita mood to be spoiled by her bhai because she could not make good parathas she says to Ishita leave it I will make from now on but Ishita wanted to make them with her own hand for her Ravan Kumar so she says that it is okay Simmi I have to learn anyway I have my very own scapegoats to try them on and looks at Rinki, Romi Mihir, Raman, Adi and Ruhi sitting on the dining table chatting and laughing with each other.

Shagun also comes down for breakfast thinking how come this house is filled with more laughter now days. It used to be very quiet in the morning when she used to live here. When she comes to the table she realizes that laughter is at the expense of Ishita she thinks to take advantage of the situation to degrade Ishita more. She says to Raman you know you love my parathas it used to be perfect just like me I know you cannot get that perfect parathas now as Ishita is madrasi and knows only to cook south Indian dishes but I will make one for you now.

The laughter suddenly dies in the table Ishita even though is smiling outwardly her sparkle in the eyes goes away. Raman looking at Ishita smiles at her and without looking at Shagun says to her don't worry anybody can make perfect looking parathas but what my Ishita makes brings smiles to everyone faces in my family that is why I like her parathas more now a days so don't bother yourself to make them now and asks Ishita to bring a new one so that he can guess what is it she made this time and the sparkle comes back in her eyes suddenly everything is back to normal on the table and everybody is trying to identify which shape Ishita made now. Shagun is feeling more jealous of Ishita now because even though she is not cooking properly the family is still enjoying her cooking.

Romi gets a call and he leaves the house in a hurry. Raman asks Ishita to hurry as he will drop both the kids to school today as it is off day for her. Ishita says to him don't worry I will drop them off but he says to her you take rest as you don't get too many off days. Raman asks the kids to sit on the car he comes outside calling Ishita when she come outside Raman checks on all sides seeing as there is no one around gives her good-bye kiss on the cheek and saunters off to his car leaving a blushing Ishita standing outside the door.

Chapter: 30

Sarika was waiting for Romi in the coffee shop he came and sat beside her without asking anything waiting patiently for her to talk. Sarika after sometime asks him don't you want to know why I called you here. Romi says to her I am waiting to hear what you have to say but I don't want to rush you. Sarika says to him I called you here to talk about our marriage.

Romi gets happy hearing that Sarika is convinced for the marriage and smiles but Sarika says I have certain conditions if you fulfill them I will agree to marry you. Romi asks let me know what are they. Sarika gives him a paper with some things written on it. Romi opens it and reads it

1. I want a pre-nuptial agreement stating that in case our marriage fails I want the sole custody of the kids.

2. In case we are not able to make our marriage work we will tell each other the truth

3. We won't cheat on other person

4. We will try to make this marriage work for our kids

5. I want everyone to respect and accept me into your family even if they cannot love me

6. I will continue with my job even after our marriage.

7. I want your parent's approval for our marriage.

After reading the list Romi folds it and keeps it in his pocket. He says to her I don't have any problem with you working after marriage and I will not cheat on you but I do have some things I require in this marriage as well will you be able to do it. Sarika asks him to tell her what he needs.

Romi says to her I live in a joint family I won't be able to come separately after our marriage so you have to live in a joint family. If our marriage fails I don't mind giving custody rights of our kids to you but I like to part of their life when they grow up. I would also like to you to respect every one of my family member even if you cannot love them due to their past misdeeds to you because of my behavior in the past.

Sarika says to him that is okay with her she is ready to accept his terms she doesn't mind living in a large family and she will respect all his family members. Romi says to her I will convince my parents and asks them to come to your house with a formal proposal both smile at each other little bit awkwardly just then the baby kicks Sarika without thinking lifts Romi hands and keeps it on her tummy for him to feel the baby movements Romi gets excited to feel a small movements in his hands and smiles. Sarika suddenly gets cautious of her surroundings and moves backwards. Romi says to her he will drop her in the hospital before going to work and they the leave the coffee shop together to start a new beginning in their lives.

Ishita comes back inside the house with a smile still lingering on her face due to her Ravan Kumar actions outside. She finishes the work tells to mummyji that she wants to spend time with her sister so she leaves to her amma house to see her big sister.

Vandu is trying to make a sweater for the baby and failing miserably in doing that and cursing aloud what life she is living. Ishita comes inside the room with a smile on her face looking at her akka antics of how a principal of a college is pouting cutely because she cannot understand where the needle has to go next due to her hormone levels increase in pregnancy.

Ishita pulls the wool and needle from her akka hand making her madder but then she hugs her sister which makes Vandu smile happily forgetting she was mad at her sister just a minute ago. Ishita asks where their parents and Mihika are. Vandu replies that Mihika has gone to work. Appa has gone out with his friends and amma has gone to the temple. Ishita scolds her akka asking her why she didn't call her as it is not safe for her to be alone in the last trimester. Vandu says to her I was supposed to call you but then forgot trying to make this sweater.

They chat for few minutes then vandu notices there is definite tension in Ishita she calls Ishita to come near her and asks what the matter with you why are you worried.

Ishita initially tries to deflect the matter finally due to Vandu perseverance Ishita breaks down and cries in Vandu laps saying that she could not be a good wife to Raman. Vandu asks what are you saying you are good mother to his kids you take of the family well so what is this nonsense now you are saying that you are not a good wife.

Ishita says you are not hearing what I am saying I am not a good wife to Raman finally Vandu understands what Ishita is talking about and gently combs her hair and says to her if you can tell me what happened I will try to clarify the situation for you.

Ishita with hiccups and lot of embarrassments tells Vandu that she literally froze when Raman came near her. Vandu gently probes her to tell her what Raman did afterwards. Ishita could not stop herself once she opened up to her sister she told her that he told me not to worry these things happen and behaved very sweetly with me. I feel really guilty because of that he understands me so well but I am not able to give him any kind of happiness.

I know Raman has not given me a reason to doubt his character but he has been with a beautiful women like Shagun and I feel compared to her I might disappoint him being a plain Ishita so I feel very afraid to see his disappointment in me.

Vandu understood that Ishita insecurity stems from Subbu and others rejecting her stating that she is not desirable women as she could not bear children so without anyone knowing Ishita has started to feel insecure about herself being a desirable women but masking it with a smile on her face to the world. Vandu thinks she has to talk to Raman about Ishita insecurity but right now she consoles the crying Ishita saying don't cry my love it happens to everyone when they get married specially if it is an arranged marriage it takes time for a person to adjust to other person needs you had so much going through in your life throughout the year just now you guys have started to being partners in each other's life so officially your married life has just started now so think as it is the beginning stage of marriage so each of you has to adjust to each other needs to make this marriage work.

You guys love each other every one of us could see that except you too. You do make Raman happy being in his life as Raman has said so many times you are his strength and he is yours. These fears will go away on its own if you give sometime meanwhile don't avoid Raman try to talk to him if you can about what you told me. He loves you so much he will understand you better.

Ishita feels lighter after crying and unburdening her feelings with her sister. Raman calls to check on Ishita as he had a nagging feeling in his heart that his love is crying somewhere seeing Raman name flash on her screen brings an instant smile to her face she picks up the call and asks him did he forget something. Raman heart settles as he talks to her and asks where she is. Ishita replies to him that she is with Vandu akka he says give her the phone I will just say hello to her. Ishita gives the phone to Vandu as Raman wanted to talk to her. Vandu asks can you get me a glass of water so Ishita goes out the room to get water for her when Ishita left the room Raman asks Vandu why Ishita was crying. Vandu is amazed at how he could tell over phone that Ishita was crying because sitting next to her if she had not seen her crying she would have assumed that she is a happy person seeing her smile.

Vandu says to him she cannot tell the reason over phone to him but would like to talk to him when he is free but don't worry she is happy now seeing your name flash on her phone bought back her happiness. Ishita brings the water Vandu hands over the phone to Ishita they talk for few more minutes which settles both their hearts Ishita says good-bye my lovely Ravan and keeps the phone which brings a smile on Raman face as for the first time she has called him her love.
