Ahahahahahahahaha 🤣 seriously his name is starting se disturbing me I mean I was talking to my sis about durga prasad and she was like durga who is that woman 😆 (she didn't know his name at that time)

Actually although Durga indeed is a name of a goddess so when naming a girl after her or any goddess for that matter you can nane her plain and simple durga, amba, ganga, etc (a stand alone name for women)

But when naming a male child after a highly worshipped goddess , you would name him with the likes of
DurgaPrasad, meaning a blessing of the goddess
Durgesh - meaning eesh of durga, (again blessing)
GangaDhar- meaning, inside who ganga prevails
GangaPrasad
KaliCharan - from the feet of goddess kali
Etc etc
These names were highly popular for that geberation.
