Ranveer Singh, who just underwent a surgery for his arm injury, is making grand plans to throw a party next week. Yes, that's right! While doctors have advised the actor to go on a bed rest for an entire month, Singh is jointly hosting a celebratory bash with Anil Kapoor, for the trailer launch of Dil Dhadakne Do, that's happening on April 15.
Talking to a leading daily, Dil Dhadakne Do producer Ritesh Sidhwani said, "Anil Kapoor will be hosting a party jointly with Ranveer. The two are actually related as Ranveer's father is a cousin of Anil's wife Sunita Kapoor. This bash for their common friends at the Kapoors' Juhu bungalow, while, Farhan and Zoya, the film's actor and director, will be throwing one more, jointly, for their families."
Ritesh admits that since they wrapped up the family drama, he's been flooded with requests from his filmy family to catch a sneak peek of the film. And that's exactly how they hit the idea of hosting parties on the same night for a preview of the trailer before unveiling it to the world, a couple of days later. Dil Dhadakne Do starts off with Anil Kapoor, the patriarch of the Mehra clan, going on a cruise with his reel life wife, Shefali Shah, to bring in their 30th wedding anniversary. Accompanying them are their children, Ranveer Singh who's being persuaded to tie the knot with the 'right' girl, and Priyanka Chopra who is already married to Rahul Bose. And there begins a journey about family bonding, estrangement and self discovery.
Well, the party idea sounds great. But talking about Ranveer, maybe such is how he plans to medicate his injury!
