I totally agree with your perception of Sharon the character. I started watching D3 very recently means from Nov2014 onwards. I was so impressed by Vrushika and Shantanu and their Swaron moments. Eventhough by that time sharon and swayam had split and screaching sharon was back. the biggest mistake D3 creative team is t make sharon into a screaching diva which she was two years ago. but obviously people do change as they grow older and with Swayam's love she had changed a lot and people had accepted that immensely. they should have brought some other kind of seperation and these two fighting it out decently. The Swayyam who cant see her unhappy, even after their break up in their so called trial relationship, just stopped caring for her just like that. when she falls sick he just goes to sleep just like that. very unbelievable. Swayyam is the one who always tells her to calm down when she is hyper so that she doesnt get asthma attack. I think later on beause fans pressure they had to bring back Swaron in the ending episodes. But if you notice the last 2-3 episodes their scenes had no magic like the previous ones. Good but not very good. Dialogues were delivered but dum nahin tha. Finally towards the end they had sidelined Vrushika and Moena was given more imp. A girl beomes reys friend in a month and she beomes d3 member instantly. so the other guys whose been there for more than three years gets lesser role. I didnt understand her role at all. She is a fantastic dancer but her role in d3 against Kuwar amar i didnt like it.
One of the best thing I liked in d3 was about Rey's and Sharon's unomprimising friendship. It was so cutely presented and we always wanted someone like that in our life.Towards the end that is all the episodes Dec 2014 Rey and sharon never shares anything. it is always serah who came into their life just yesterday. Rey discusses his problems with Swayyam but not with Sharon. From Dhol gaav onwards i have been noticing the change and towards the end they were conentrating on Huma Karma and Sarah.
THen i started watching from the begining of D3. For the life of me i couldnt visualise Sneha kapoor as Sharon. I couldnt see the attittude of a Diva or the beauty of a Diva. you need to have certain qualities for a diva and she doesnt have it. She is a fantastic dancer, no doubt a very good actress, so she was able to pull it off. But as you said no hugging no hand holding only dialogues, no sensousness,very little passion and in certain scenes she looked definitly older than swayam. Vrushika brought in the princess like quality to the role and a very graceful dancer who complimented Shantanu perfectly. Their closeness their dialogues their actions and their comfortability with each other has brought the perfect magic into the role. Hats off to Palki Maam for creating such a team. I have always wondered how such a young girl of twenty handles all these passionate dances, those lifts, passionate scenes, the fan fare with so much of simplicity and elan. Her interviews and behind the scenes with Shantanu are so cute and so down to earth. All the best in all the coming up projects Vrushika.
