Tomorrow is Raksha Bandhan. A sacred day when brothers take an oath to protect sisters from any crisis in life. Not just that, but the festival celebrates the special 'bhai behen ka atoot rishta.'
A brother is someone who stands by you, buys you gifts, pampers you and protects from the wicked world. But what happens when you don't have a real brother?
Well, then you fall back on others whom you trust and bond. Sonal Miglani spoke to a few of our leading ladies from tellydom who have found their brothers on the sets.
Ritu Chowdhary- Sandeep Sachdev
It's a tradition that we Indians have been following for the last few years. I got to know fatty (Sandeep's pet name) from Sumit, my Kyunki co-star. I found him more fascinating and jovial than Sumit. He's a now my sweet younger brother whom I can trust to the fullest anytime. I share a very bizarre relationship with him. It's sometimes witty and sometimes sour. He's a sweet younger brother whom I can trust to the fullest. He believes in gifting us unusual stuff so he recently got us identical pullovers for Shilpa and me from London. This year, I'll visit him at Amby Valley as he's shooting there. I'm keeping my fingers crossed to get something very good from him on this Raksha Bandhan.
