So yeah I am on my PC now, so I can rant without my phone being really annoying.
First of all, thank you Husna for the topic, and yes thumbs up for the title brother 🤣 Plus I always do enjoy the rants of you two souls 😆
THIS EPISODE. It came as a relief after all those filler episodes. The episode went on beautifully, and I found my self become a mess when Sam read Bobby's letter. Now THIS is the supernatural I like, the one that makes me an emotional mess and rips out my heart. 😳
So starting from the start,
BOBBYYY. I always knew that I miss him on the show, but I never realized exactly how much till I saw him in the opening scene. No exaggeration here, I almost screamed OH BALLS BOBBBYYY !!!!! Though I knew he was coming back for the episode, but watch him IN the episode, its an entirely different story.
If I am not wrong, this is probably the first peek inside Sam's room right ?
I saw a post about how Sam was too tall to fit in his bed while sleeping straight. Damm you gigantor Padalecki.
I LOVED Dean's nightmare scene, it was intense. Reminded me a bit of those old hell flashbacks. Dean calling out for Sam, and Sam leaping out at once after hearing his brother, running through the corridors, gun raised. Dean having the mark flashbacks, while his hand is stiff. Sam watch his brother struggle . Dean can lie about being 'okay' as much as he wants but nightmares don't lie, and Sam knows that, the determined expression he has towards the end of he scene, he knows that he cant give up on his brother, he wont. That was such a good scene.
Dean messing up with Sam's room. It reminded me of good old episode of the Winchester prank war 😆 . So Sam Winchester, you know right, that the best of of making someone do anything is by telling them not to do it. Especially if that someone is your elder brother who irrespective of everything, is still a mental 5 year old 🤣🤣. Sammy, you should have left him some fresh baked pie and nudie french movies before leaving 😆
Dean hustling , and tricking those frat boys, again it was good to watch the old playful Dean.
Sam and Cas.
Going a bit off topic here, but I really enjoy watching their interactions, we didn't get much of theirs one to one interactions in the early season and its just great to see the long way they have come. It started with Cas seeing Sam as the boy with the demon blood, the abomination, while Sam was this awed boy who realized that the God he prayed to, probably does exists. With time and situations, they became friends and now they make such a badass team.
SAMTASTIC SAMMY. THANK YOU WHOEVER WROTE THIS EPISODE. Phew. Finally we get a bit of Sam's pov which was way over due.
Sam found the physic, convinced him to help them. Like you both said, THIS is Sam, Sam Winchesters who knows how get stuff done. Who else cheered when he shot Metatron ? Cause I surely did!That's the badass Sam we know and love. The one with the brains and the brawn's. .
Cas, he really likes lowing up doors or what ? Oh Cas, you adorable person 😆
Ohh and I liked the bit with Hannah too.
Cas Bobby team up,it was good to watch them in the same frame.
Metatron being an annoying smart ass. Ohh how much I want to go and punch him.
OHH AND 'This is the scribe of God? Looks like a Fraggle.'- Bobby. Bobby see there are so many reasons that makes you awesome.
But then Cas took out his grace and Sam shot him on his leg, and that makes me happy.
Rowena and Crowley, now the hell scenes did not bore me this time. Now that was a weird change😆
I loved Dean giving it back to Rowena
OHH AND DEAN CROWLEY TALK. Crowley you have gone soft, everyone knows that. Is it the human blood side effect thing, or Crowley is upto something, I will never understand. But then that's the thing about Crowley I love, you cannot fully understand him, and that's the reason he is the King of Hell afterall.
Ohh coming back to Crowley Dean talk, doing everything for family. Now family is something that has to strike a nerve with Dean right, cause for Dean family means Sam, and this definition of family tells how the Winchesters go hell and back for each other, literally and figuratively. . Now anybody who knows Dean to the slightest knows that he values nothing more than his family. But family to Dean and family to Crowley are vastly different. Dean who quotes Bobby, though unaware of the fact that what is going on elsewhere at that point says "Family don't end in blood, but it doesn't start there, either. Family cares about you. Not what you can do for them. Family is there. Through the good, bad, all of it. They've got your back even when it hurts. That's family." I love how Dean reprimands Crowley's ' cause she is family' excuse, cause its blatantly obvious that Rowena is using Crowley, and family doesn't do that, family doesn't deceives you.
And I also did cheer when Crowley threw Rowena out of hell, * out of hell, and I am putting it here like getting thrown out of hell is a bad thing, oh supernatural 😆-
I kinda love the grudging friendship or whatever Dean and Crowley share.

Now ofcorse Bobby was their go to inside man, cause who else ? Who else can get shit done and find out a way in frigging heaven than Bobby Singer. BOBBY BE THE BOSS😎. He can crib about getting rusty but he is still the VERY BEST. Always have been.
