I love all of your characters. They're all such acche log, you know? Dil ke acche hain. But I especially commend Manorama and Sumitra for trying so hard to understand changing dynamics of a newer generation.

Sumitra's squeeze of Manorama's hand was enough for me to feel her pain with them. You've built this feeling beautifully- so damn well- the feeling of watching someone else in pain. It's a terrible feeling, but that seemingly immediate response of wanting to provide solace and comfort, even in the form of the simplest of actions.

Your characters are so... fitted to their age, who they are. The little pause that it takes Sumitra to recall what Aditya does is so telling of her age. But you really, truly killed it with Mohan. You deserve a standing ovation for this- you show his ASD in his actions, like when he flinches away from Meera's touch, his need for the routine.

But you just outdid yourself when Mohan says "Tears mean sad. Are you sad?"- That moment. Hell, Mirabell.

Arnav and Khushi are supposed to be the stars of this, but they aren't here. Not in this chapter- no, this chapter belonged to our innately connected pair of children, Meera and Mohan. This was theirs.
