YHM writers clearly have the habit of repeating the same situation multiple times with slight differences. Case in point, the whole Ruhi shunning Ishita situation, be it her coming to the house to see her sick Ishima, at the restaurant, at school, today's incident, and the upcoming Navrathri pooja. When will the writers learn that, situations such as these are only effective and impactful when it shown once or twice, not repeatedly in every single episode.
Someone needs to shut Ishita up - her lectures are just getting on everyone's nerves. She lectures the lawyer, her reforms, she lectures the police and he follows what she says as well. I actually enjoy watching Shagun asking her shut up whenever they meet. And as far as the Mihika situation was concerned, and Ishita giving the lecture she did, it came out hypocritical because she decided to do nothing when Raman manhandled her (there was no talk at all about it after the incident occured), or the whole Ashok's bachelor party situation (it was ok that it happened because Simmi found out the truth about Param) - it just wasn't convincing.

I am all for addressing social issues on shows but it should be done with sensitivity and finesse which the writers lack, in their quest to address all of these questions, the only thing that comes across strongly is the regressive rut that they are still stuck in.

Reading reviews here sounds like YHM that started off with a bang has been hijacked. Any chance head writers of shows get replaced if they are stuck like a car spinning its wheels stuck after a heavy rain in clay soil.
What happened to the characters...they've all lost their identities🤔...

Raman lost his sense of humor and viewers get no more one-liners😕. He cries a river for every secret he keeps from Ishita. The tough CEO is now a wimp, a wallflower for most part. For someone who was the recent CEO of the year, NO ONE is ready to hire him in all of Delhi? Not even his ex-boss's competitors? So he goes back to Ashok's den?🤪

Ishita is a motor mouth who seems stuck in a lecturing loop. She keeps secrets from Raman yet takes him to task for doing the same. She also cries a river these days.

Ruhi is 7 running on 17 and at times 30. Where is the innocent child? She's giving lectures and talking rude these days.😲

Mihika went from firecracker Madrasan to a weak helpless woman on a hamster wheel taking turns to threaten, beg and teach Ashok lessons.

Mhir/Rinky marriage came out of the blue and with Mihika out of Ashok's den a triangle may be brewing creating yet another drama for the Bhallas just so Ishita can be blamed for her vision of a happy marriage.🤪.

Bala, a really well sketched character seems to have left town.😕 Vandu has been preggies for months now, about time the bun is out of the oven no?😛 Bala's bro Subbu is headed to Delhi to create trouble for Raman and Ishita's marriage in holding pattern.

Mr. Iyer is off planning his real life daughter's wedding to his reel life son-in law😆. So Mrs. Iyer is missing too.

Mrs. Bhalla's happy go lucky has been traded for ott melodrama and crying fits. When was the last time Mr. Bhalla had a dozen dialogues to speak?😲

Simmi has no story per se. Shagun has been filling the screen for months much to the annoyance of the viewers. Too much of anything is no good. And viewers are vexed at the sight of Shagun...they want her gone.

Mani came and went, Balla's teenage stalker came and went so did Mrs. Fullmoon Light. Have CVs run out of fresh ideas?🤔

Perfect post

I agree with everything

It is good to show social message in tv shows

But writers in name of drama stretch it till it becomes puke worthy

And it becomes sad parody of itself

And writers forget what they had shown earlier so they end up showing themselves and characters like hypocrites like in this marital rape thing
