As we all know dastaan is airing now in ZINDAGI as waqt ne kiya kya haseen sitam and in the controversial dialogues they gave a voiceover which was really intelligent of ZINDAGI but I m glad they didn't do too much editing and kept the tension of partition in tact

Now that I m watching the initial epis I must mention a few aspects which I forget to mention always

The few scenes of Fawad and Saba q are super cute...I so wish they had more scenes ...and my dream of seeing Fawad Saba q together in a romantic show remained unfulfilled forever it seems

Then comes AHSAN Khan n Saba q Jodi...again I so wish there were more scenes ...AHSAN n Saba did hv two more shows but in paani jaisa pyaar he was evil and I didn't like na kaho tum mere NAHIN much ...wish they had a full fledged romantic show

Also we got to see Fawad AHSAN and Saba q and Sanam baloch in one frame which is almost impossible to imagine now a days ...Saba q Sanam real life bonding came across onscreen too and AHSAN Fawad scenes of congress vs Muslim league are fire...AHSAN is so convincing n mind blowing as the congressi who doesn't want partition...wow

I also realised AHSAN Sanam baloch was never paired opp eaach other in any show

I m glad the killing epis are yet to air and the first few epis are so beautiful I can watch them forever ...I m watching with mom now on my huge tv

abby where are you from ? if you dont mind ?? now that you are talking about zindagi channel ,i guess safe to guess India???
i love this show so much from the story, chemistry , dialogues and all but when it comes to showing unnecessary killing during partition of the countries is what breaks my heart. i glanced at it by show hoping through episodes. Keeps me upset that why people turn against each other on the name of religion and borders. It might not be a bad idea to do voice over since its so easy to have riots and fights over this in India. I have recommended to few people but i refuse to watch it till the day i feel like sitting by myself and crying. some of the other female opressive shows bring out the feminist side of me.feel like going out and make world fair or all of the world 's sad poor women.

They don't show oppression of women in dastaan but how women were so brave and tolerant and survived partition

What I LUVED abt dastaan is they didn't show India in a negative light neither r there much controversial dialogues coz given the scenario the writer cud hv added more negative dialogues against India or show them in negative light but they didn't do it ...so I m not at all concerned abt the FeedBk coz I hv seen many Hindi films where a lot of dialogues were against pak n Muslims ...compared to that dastan is nothing ...so it's a safe watch for Indians too

And it's not abt crying the way u r thinking it to b ...this show will mk u even more proud for being a women ...and is not abt oppression of women the way u r thinking it to b

It's a good thing that u didn't watch yet coz jus recently humtv uploaded the dastaan epis in full hd which wasn't available even a few months bk...so watch the hd version now n this show won't mk u cry like the other soaps where women are tortured but will mk any person doesn't matter which country they bbelong to respect their country more n work for it...it's an inspirational show...so plz watch it...many people call it a sad show...some call it controversial jus for a few scenes n dialogues...but this is a 23 Epi show for God's sake and it has every type of emotions n scene which will surprise u

So plz watch it without any preconceived notions

Indian audience are used to watching half an hr shows ...hence they cute the 40 min epis in half and show them in two days...personally I like this strategy coz being an Indian soap watcher I m also accustomed to watching 20 mins Epi per day

And in that way they hv increased the no of shows too

Which is even better

Before they used to air only 4 shows a day but now they air 6 ifferent shows a day ...from mid Apr they hv increased the time band and will show 8 different shows a day and I m so excited

They 'll start mere humrahi and hamnasheen from mid Apr in the new slot of 7 to 8

i know abby that nothing to do with women's opression in dastaan but really sad and makes me want to cry to watch the entire family killed and neighbors killing neighbors. lets see i will brave this out and watch.
Have you seen movie Pinjer with Urmila mantodker? very nice in the same subject matter also

women's opression is other serials but they show it too real touching your heart serious.ex Adhuri aurat, qaid e tanhai, dur e shawar, mohabbat subhah ka sitara hai. (umera ahmed stories)

Sanam and Fawad's chemistry is just phenomenal! I'm still waiting for a drama where both of them have some romantic roles. Would love love love to see that!

Have already watched Dastaan and m watching WNKKHS😳 and yeahI for one am glad dat dey r muting sm ddialogues and r having voice-over to explain some scenes as I too had sm issues with sm political rhetoric when watching Dastaan, so a good idea overall.

Also guess Dastaan whn aired on HUM TV was promoted more as partition story and also Bano's story, which is the case. Zindagi is promoting it as a love story and it's not surprising as dey do promote Fawad a lot as he has such a humongous fan following. Even the starting music Zindagi kept of d OST which is very soothing, whereas Dastaan has a very haunting and chilling starting music.
