She was the last one standing in Prakash Jha's 2010 Raajneeti. The sequel to the political drama will revolve around Katrina Kaif's character Indu Pratap Singh. The actress had romanced her current live-in partner, Ranbir Kapoor, in the first film but the two will not reunite in Raajneeti 2.
The actress who is currently filming Fitoor, the desi adaptation of Charles Dickens' Great Expectations, will start shooting with Jha by the end of this year, according to a source close to the development. The film starts with Indu, a reluctant entrant into politics, embracing the position of the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.
