Work comes first for Ranbir Kapoor

It isn't a lesser known fact that Ranbir Kapoor has been living in with his alleged girlfriend Katrina Kaif and that the two have been in love since a long time. So knowing the fact that the two have been apparently dating each other, Ranbir was expected to accompany Katrina to London where her wax statue was recently unveiled at the very popular wax museum Madame Tussauds. Even a lot of reports circulating last week were suggesting that Ranbir would accompany the actress to London. However, contrary to popular rumours Ranbir chose to skip the special event. And after researching a bit we found out that Ranbir was shooting for Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha in Shimla, and despite trying his best to attend the event he wasn't able skip the shoot.

A reliable source says, "Well, this wasn't a last minute decision made but they had spoken about it before hand. Ranbir indeed wanted to be with Katrina in London, however, earlier he was busy shooting for Tamasha in Delhi which they then shifted to Shimla. Ranbir tried hard, however his shooting schedule is so tight that he couldn't manage to take out time to accompany Katrina to London." While Ranbir was obviously missed at this special occasion, Katrina was given company by her family. Her siblings were present at Madame Tussauds to cheer the loudest for Katrina. Apparently, rumours of Ranbir and Katrina's engagement have also been doing the rounds since a while now, however neither of the two actors have confirmed on the same. And well, that doesn't come across as a surprise, considering the two have always preferred keeping their personal life guarded from the media. A poll was conducted on the museum's website, and after a good competition from Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, Katrina was finally adjudged the winner of the poll with maximum votes. She is the eight Bollywood actor to make a space for herself in Madame Tussauds post Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The outfit and the jewellery that Katrina's wax statue is wearing have been donated by the actress. While, Katrina's wax statue looks amazing, we would have loved to see Ranbir pose besides the figure.
