I think it's futile for her to try to change genres now. Acting is something she simply can't do and all the botox has rendered her face even more immobile. I don't think her audience wants to see her 'acting' either.

Anyways, I think she's more interested in tying the knot.

I'm referring to the major PR wars she had with her trying to get into any and every film of Ranbir's and some others + the open letter fiasco. That time her films got pushed back and delayed and she didn't have anything to do either. I think she struggled in the beginning because her films weren't working out and someone else was starting to take her place. It's only natural...doesn't make her any less of a person. Even D3/BB didn't do anything for her. I think she eventually got over it and started looking at the positives. Good kept her sane. But it may just be too late for a change now...though I doubt she cares. She's achieved all that she possibly could.

But I think the pushback she received for her short role in D3 coupled with her distance from Salman's influence has finally forced her to do some thinking. One thing about Katrina, she is sensitive which makes her vulnerable in some ways but also very intuitive in other ways so she picks up on the mood of the public quickly. The good thing is she realized this probably a year ago so all of her movies coming out now will be the result of that different approach. Hopefully she will achieve what she has set out to do with these upcoming movies. For a person who never expressed passion for acting or being famous and just kind fell into this profession a a means to support her family and herself financially, I think she's done quiet well for herself.

That was during the break-up when Kat didn't want anything to do with Ranbir. They got back together shortly after Barfi or around Barfi release. So yes, post that point she wanted to work with him. That doesn't mean she wanted to be in every film with him just that she wanted to work with him...and why wouldn't she? They made a successful pair before and he was being considered a big star. There was definitely a PR war for Tamasha. I don't remember about JJ now...I remember when JJ was announced people were chalo thank god Kat gets a film with Ranbir. They were also fighting for a short while HNY after a point, but Farah shot down the news. Anyways, Kat fans see things the way they want to and I see them the way I want to. This looks like it's going to be a circle so I think this is it for me.

I had a lot of hope on her when she did Namaste London, but she didn't fully capitalize to sign good films..she seemed in a hurry to earn more money..which I understand because she has a family to support. but I wished to see her in better roles instead of just being the one pretty girl in the movie...

Also, I would like to point out that while she says she's not arrogant...she has her moments...I have seen her in both..there are times when she's disinterested in talking to fans while there are times when she's chatty...I guess, it has a lot to do with how she was feeling then... Salman is like that too...there are stars who are able to brush their feelings aside and just be nice on the outside...

The misunderstandings between happened during rockstar release before that they were going well and it was during that time she refused barfi and rockstar. She only refused YJHD when they were having misunderstandings. So Katrina was never desperate to work with ranbir.

There was never a PR war for Tamasha, Deepika showed interest to Imtiaz and from then on she was pretty much part of the film but the film's pr wanted to get some publicity by using Katrina's name but Katrina was not amused and quickly released a statement where she cleared the air and stated she is not in it, she didn't want her name attached to the film.

Anurag Basu and Katrina have been wanting to work together for a long time during Barfi when the film didn't happen Anurag had stated my next will definitely star Katrina, so it was never a case of Katrina chasing him.

And HNY was first offered to Katrina, Sonakshi, Aishwarya and several others but they all refused and at end they almost went for a new comer but then Deepika wanted to be part of it and they took her.
