Yup...a celebration of love, of friendship, of a good cause, of right winning over wrong, of a united front, of feminism, of old bonds and new promises!! 🥳 And also a celebration for this forum, today we hopefully step out of our self imposed mourning!!😃
Lets start with one of the keywords that underlined this episode...Hope!! Yes, the hope that all will be fine...the hope that puts a mysterious smile on Manik's face everytime Nandini talks desolately about the Fusion Concert!! The hope that started off with Nandini but the torch that has now been passed on from her tired hands to his strong hands...you see...Manik Malhotra...hates to lose and worse (or better still) hates to see his dear ones lose...so there is still hope!! It a celebration of a bright future that awaits these two...in spite or may be because of all they have gone through together...
Cabir...always multitasking...the wise sage on one hand, the naughty cupid on the other, one of the key planners on another hand...phew so much to do...thankfully...he is still single😉!!
And Alya, Mukti,...old friends..older foundations...solid and strong...they are such a sight...as different as chalk and cheese...yet always complimenting and completing each other. If one feels the other feels too...now that's friendship and who says you can't include more in your circle of love...check this out...Navya is slowly and steadily carving a niche in their hearts!! Such a celebration of contrast and opposites...remember the day our dear black and white Madhubala first met these bullies and spent a night locked in a trash can while they partied...and now mark today when the small town homely simpleton stands in their sophisticated, spoilt and haughty circle of trust...a different kind of celebration...unity in diversity!! 😛
And Fab 5...what do I say...pure friendship!! This bunch of weirdos have pulled off tons of plans with confidence, panache and success...this time it was nothing new for them! The only difference, actually the biggest difference, this time its all for a good cause!! Finally they turn a new leaf, not one, but all, together..forever!! A celebration of a new beginning...in a way they realize that their unity, their meticulous planning, their boldness, their unbreakable bond could be used for good too and when they want to do good, there will be plenty to support them...to stand by them...they are no longer alone!! From bullies to leaders..it was a long journey...and they are still walking...hand in hand...a celebration of friendship...always!! And yes...they are still Fab 5, one of them might be not so obviously with them...but they will always be together. Dhruv is and will always remain a part of Fab 5...neither he nor the other 4 will ever let go...his small gestures like putting the poster back is proof enough and neither does it go unnoticed.
So once again, Manik Malhotra is right...he knows how to deal with idiots (its only one sane person that he can't deal with)!! He knows how to lure and trap a bunch of baboons (sorry..no insult meant ...I love those creatures)!! And of course, with Cabira by his side...and the girls to support..especially one tiny little novel thinker...it was bound to go smoothly!!
Sigh...no words for the look on his face when he sees who those tiny boots and gorgeous legs belong to...he was pole axed!! Smitten for life, speechless cause of adoration...love sick puppies look more in senses than one Manik Malhotra!! The lovely Ms. Nandini Murthy had one Manik Malhotra wrapped around her little finger or should I say her ankle and her boot...😆!! Beautiful scene...the awkwardness, the shyness, the awareness, the besotted looks, the nervous acknowledgement, he falls like a ton of bricks and she blushes and flushes ...now that's a scene...love can be so painfully sweet at times!! Perfect marks to Parth...seriously there can be no other Manik and Niti...and of course no other Nandini...they are our MaNan...and bet she is HOT...but also bet you wanted to say a lot more Manik but decided to not shock the girl further and focus on the plan on hand!! Her reluctance when he goes down on his knees (err...tell me honestly...who all thought he was going to propose..lol)..her nervous start...his expression of total worship...his gentle touch and turning her around and his zipping the boot...she so expected something else...😉!! Err...these two...its a such a surprise when they behave...😃!! One more precious MaNan moment..how confident does a girl feel when she knows her man can't take his eyes off her...ask Nandini!! And how uncomfortable does a guy feel when all he wants to do is take his gorgeous girl away and have his way and yet has to catch a bunch of villains...ask Manik 😆!!
The set up...perfect!! But then, it was a Fab 5 plan...and Nandu's ...so it could be nothing else!! Special marks to Navya's awkwardness...not everyone is comfortable in short clothes. But what two statements...will always remain with us..Alya...don't hide behind us, walk with us!! Yes, ladies...its time to walk together and not hide behind traditions and customs!! And Nandini...if you don't find it wrong..no one will...(not exact words)!! Yes...if you are confident, and true to yourself...no one can point a finger at us women...loved these lines!!
Was it only me or did anyone else's fingers itch to slap Rocky and his bunch of bozos when he came onscreen btw?? Mukti's demure act...too good!! She trolled the hide bound big time!! Yes, Charlies we hear and heart you girl!! Its not easy...but you did it!! Weird as it may sound...but Charlie looked beautiful to me in that get up..huh?? I gotta have my head examined...she looked different , so felt it was refreshing... whatever!! Cabira and his camera...gosh ...so reminiscent of old golden days...there was a time when they were inseparable!! An unbeatable combination...give this guy a lens and he can butcher anyone in minutes...lol!! Loved his calm, quiet and confident presence through out...
And then all hell breaks loose...so so loved the way they routed the rowdy bunch out!! Was cheering all the way !! Such episodes tend to get a bit dramatic, preachy and OTT, but nope...they pulled it off and managed to keep it natural and retain some charm. Great work team...for taking on a much needed cause and giving full justice to it!! Plenty had doubts on s**t walks and politician dealings and all... but hey you showed a proper, logical closure, a plausible and laudable solution in my opinion!! ( am sure the critics will find a zillion faults but it worked for me))!! The use of radio for campaigns, Cabir being an RJ, the social media involvement, the smart use of Cabir's video channel for an expose...all good...all made sense...cast and crew of KY2..its not easy to take up causes and treat them with sensitivity...you passed with flying colors!!
The highlights...Nandini..he has a knife...Maik..I can see that...and i love that...😆..Manik putting that saree around that creep...the best scene ever..it felt good...so good!! And Mukti adding the cherry on the idiot...oops...the bindi on his empty face plate...better still!!
The message of the day..a lewd animal, a lech, cannot differentiate between a fully covered or partially covered woman...its not about the length of our hem line or the absence of a sleeve...its about their mentality, the way they look at us..and we already knew this...but thanks for driving the point home so succinctly...mission accomplished!! A celebration of womanhood and its deserved freedom!!
Sunny Leone...according to me she was superfluous...but not bad!! She played her part!! And so did Dhruv...he did not let his friends or us down...see some roots go very deep and Manik knows that!! He did turn up for them so what if he did not join the victory celebrations!! Gosh...Ayaaz was having a blast...couldn't help laughing out loud!! 😆 And MaNan...yahaan bhi shuru!! Of course...the world fades, music recedes when these two are together...in rhythm with each other...he won't behave and she knows it! 😆 Such a happy wala celebration!!
The scene after...finally!! Finally the circle is complete...and we see the horizons meet!! After decades of waiting...our Nandini is finally accepted and recognized and appreciated for what she is ...a bright star!! Mukti..the troubled soul...finds solace in a new bond!! Heart warming to see not one but both the Fab 5 girls finally show love and respect and understanding to our girl...a warm welcome!! And here ends one major track ...a celebration of new beginnings...of new friendships...of new connects...of tomorrows filled with not Fab 5...or should I say not only Fab 5...more like Super 7 now...what say!! (it sucks but I m following Navya's footsteps 😃)!!
The look of sheer satisfaction and pride on his face when his friends acknowledge her worth...priceless!! He is on cloud 9...and Cabir...hear hear...she has not something special but everything super special as far as Manik goes!! For once this smart mouth is shut up...😆!! Of course...he can't for long...abhi aaya...oh yeah...Manik ..gotcha!!
Last but not the least...a word to those who had issues with Mukti's character!! They said it ..loud n clear...she is a troubled personality. Closed to outside hurt and limited to ones she trusts...yes she has tons of issues in her life...to the outsiders she is rude and abrasive and all wrong and the ones that surround her know that...but Nandini said it all in one word...she is a pure soul!!
About that last MaNan scene...felt so familiar...it was like coming back home after a long, yet fulfilling journey...his attempts to kiss her (never thought we would miss the kiss miss sessions ..but we did)!! Back to square one...he wants a smooch and she doesn't want to oblige...he sulks, he demands, tries to throw a tantrum and she, as smart as she is...gives him exactly what he deserves...a wet towel!! 😆 Such a private celebration of love, and a bit of lust too (whose complaining??)
The question in the end...a befitting..a perfect climax...Have I forgiven her??? 😆..Err...mmm...kab ka Mr. Manik Monster Monkey Malhotra!! And so let's celebrate...
P.S...Those who feel this is long...this was an hour long episode..and heck I don't care...I am busy partying...🥳!!
P.P.S...For all those super intelligent creatures in this forum...a serious topic for research...why can't tall men dance...(only exception ever seen Hrithik Roshan)!! Is it the length of their limbs ratio to the distance from the brain!!???? But I still love the tall man!!
