Rana Daggubati and Bipasha Basu were supposed to be the lead pair of fashion designer-turned-director Vikram Phadnis' directorial venture Nia but now, Vikram has to start looking for another male lead as Rana has left the film.It is believed that the popular South actor was very much excited to be part of Vikram's first film as director but he had to let go of the project for his Tamil film, Bangalore Days.
Our source revealed, "The actor is also part of mega project Bahubali which is expected to release by mid 2015. This Indian epic film is a war drama and has taken quite long to shoot. This is undoubtedly one of his biggest films so he wants to give some time to promote the film. Meanwhile the actor signed Nia which was supposed to start by January this year but got postponed due to some unknown reasons."The source further added that Rana wanted to do another Hindi film before the release of Bahubali which is why he signed Nia but when the Bipasha starrer got delayed, Rana had no option but to leave the film.
"Rana has signed a Tamil remake of Malayalam blockbuster Bangalore Days. The actor has given his dates to this film and will soon start the shoot. After this film Rana will start the promotions of Bahubali which is releasing in Tamil and Telugu," added the source.Apparently, Rana's pairing with Bipasha had also created a buzz that the ex-lovers are back together once again but Rana's exit from Nia will finally put an end to all rumours.Despite repeated attempts, Rana Daggubati remained unavailable for comment.
