Okay.. Once again, really really sorry for getting to your story so late (I was lost. In a nutshell) and then unres-ing so late.

Your stories always intrigue me.. I find them such a wonderful read, almost as if I am reading a small novella of sorts.. you do your backgrounding really really well.. the way you develop the characters is amazing!!!

I tried looking online for some rooftop pictures that I could add to my comment, but I couldn't find the one that I had in my mind.. the one that your description made me picturize! And so.. I'll make do with simply writing, in this comment..

Ananya, you have a really wonderful talent with words. Using lifelike circumstances (and staying true to reality) is your forte, for me. You've put forth realistic scenarios- from office-place gossip, romance, mean rumors.. to exploitation and all. I loved how you chose to put a bit of negative into every one, making them human! I loved that the most!!

Be it Khushi, or Arnav, you've made them unapologetic about being in love with someone and then not finding that love to be what they thought it would.. they're human and make mistakes, and they're not simply one-dimensional characters!

With Payal.. the little streak of *slight* nastiness surprised me in the beginning, but I understood the need for it. Again, very real..

All in all, I am hooked to the story! There will be magic amidst the flowers, I'm hopeful! (Oh, I almost forgot.. Khushi's divorce, her strength to stick up for her decisions, not hiding it from her 'friends'.. kudos, girl!)
