Will put up the explanation for my riddle as soon as possible.. Meanwhile let us keep this thread open for the explanations for previous riddles..

Another season has gone by hosted wonderfully by Anjali.. Now the time has come for the next season.. Anjali is busy with her studies and has mentioned that she cannot host this season.. Any volunteers who would want to host the season?? It isn't complicated and very easy.. All you have to do is copy and paste the first page from previous threads.. And keep updating the links of riddles... That's it!

So I just came here to take a peek at the riddles and looks like the thread crossed 150 pages long ago!

It seems I've missed so many interesting riddles. Only if I had time now to go through all of them!

Last riddle was interesting ,Avie and talking about the next season you can host it if you like,you know! You'd be a great host .Well only if you like to do it ,so no pressures!

@Aru I'll add the link of your res'd post for the time being.You can edit it and write the explanation later :)

I would love to host it.. But if anyone else wants to, they surely can.. In case no one is ready, I will do it..

Cormac McLaggen was a member of the Slug Club created by Slughorn which had some of the famous witches and wizards as it members.. These were purely chosen because they had influential relatives or talent or both.. McLaggen was born into an influential family and his Uncle Tiberius was an important official in the Ministry of Magic and friends with Head of Auror office and later Minister Rufus Scrimgeour

McLaggen was selected as Keeper of Gryffindor Quidditch team when Ron was poisoned.. He was bossy and repeatedly advised Harry on strategies and insulted other players' abilities which resulted in Gryffindor's worst embarrassing defeat ever..

Envy he did
But not for long
Ron was jealous of him because Hermione had invited Cormac as her date to Slughorn's party in retaliation to Ron's relationship with Lavender.. But he didn't have to worry for long because he drove Hermione crazy by atalking about himself excessively and boasting about his Quidditch abilities.. Hermione ended up in avoiding him for most of the night..
