Chapter: 25

While Ruman were feeding Ishita she could see in Raman eyes that he was feeling guilty that he told everyone that he did not love her. Ishita wanted to reassure him that she did not take it in a bad way as he likes to keep their private moments to themselves so when he was feeding her she applied a gentle pressure to his hands with a smile reassuring him without anyone knowing that she understands him. Raman heart melted at this gesture of reassurance from her and thinks how well she identifies my emotions even before I could process them she is one of the most beloved treasure god has given to me and I will cherish it till my last breath and smiles at her easing away from the guilt which was burdening him which shows in his eyes as well which makes her happy.

Everybody is enjoying the Ruman feeding Ishita and did not believe a word of what Raman said. They could see the love oozing from Raman eyes for Ishita and her reciprocating it. Each one of them is thinking when are they are going to accept that they are in love with each other.

Shagun was glad to see Ishita eyes filled with tears after Raman declaration that he did not love her. Shagun thinks I definitely now know that he still has not gotten over me because he will never be this rude to me in front of everyone. She gets irritated that he is still feeding her so to stop that she comments Ishita is not a child she can eat on her own before Raman could say anything to Shagun Ruhi intervenes and says to her Shagun mama I like taking care of Ishima when she is sick as she takes good care of me when she is well so don't worry about it we all know Ishima is a big girl. Shagun gets irked at this and leaves the table in a huff. Adi is in two minds whether to go with his mom or enjoy the conversation happening around the table. Romi as if on cue asks him about the new video games and Adi enjoys the conversation at table. Shagun is more irritated now as Adi has not followed her.

Once they finish the dinner Ishita gets up from the chair and slowly starts walking towards the stairs hoping that Raman would again pick her up in his hands. Mihir and Romi are walking on either side to support her. When she comes to the stairs she turns slightly at looks at Raman which is noticed by Romi. He winks at her and says in a loud voice for everyone to hear bhabi we are now at the end of the stairs and if you lift your arms and put around me I will carry you upstairs. Ishita smiles at him and swats his hand even before she could reply Raman picks her up and tells to Romi that he can take care of his wife and walks upstairs to the joy of everyone present there.

Ishita is blushing at the same time happy to see that her Ravan Kumar is jealous of his chotti bhai also. Raman gently places her on the bed covers her up with quilt and lies down beside her on his side of the bed. Ishita phone rings Raman picks it up and gives it to her she arranges a meeting with the person on phone for tomorrow and keeps the phone. Once Ishita finishes the call Raman says to her you are not going anywhere please call them and cancel the meeting you need rest. Ishita says to Raman it is just not me we have to go and it cannot be postponed as it with Sarika. Raman gets tensed hearing her name and asks is she okay, is the baby fine does she need anything. Ishita says to him relax she just wants to talk with us and I told her we will be there and I promise I will take good care of myself tomorrow so that I want to be too tired to meet her. Raman agrees to it and makes her sleep.

Ishita wakes up in the middle of the night and sees that Raman is sleeping peacefully she thinks I will never have the nerve to do this when you are up. Once again she checks to see that he is still sleeping and inches towards him places her head on his chest and lulls herself to sleep hearing his rhythmic heartbeat. Raman unconsciously holds her possessively in his sleep.

Raman wakes up in the morning to see Ishita sleeping on his chest with a smile. He thinks I will never have the nerve to do this when you are up and checks to see whether she is still asleep and then places feather light kisses on her forehead and hair and suddenly feels guilty that he is taking advantage of her and moves her slowly to her side of the bed and with a last lingering look goes to get ready.

When he comes out he sees Ishita is up. He takes her temperature which is normal now. He says to her don't go around running doing things as your temperature is normal take rest I have spies in this house and I will really get mad if you are not taking proper care of yourself. I will come in the evening to take you for our meeting. He asks her will you be okay for me to go to office or do you want me to stay with you. Ishita says to him don't worry I will be fine, there are people here to take care of me.

Once Ishita gets ready they come downstairs he is still watching her like a hawk when she climbs down. Raman after having his breakfast tells to Toshji mummyji take care of this pagal madrasan and don't allow her to do any work in the house she is still not recovered fully and turns to Simmi and tells her JRK has tendency to overdo things so please keep an eye on her when she is walking near the stairs. Simmi cannot let this moment go without teasing her bhai saying now a day's why are you paying so much attention to Ishita what is happening to you? Ishita blushes Raman avoids answering, glares at Simmi and once again says to Toshjii mummy take care of my madrasan and walks away.
