Chapter: 26
Raman was walking towards the door just then realized what he had admitted to the whole room but it doesn't bother him that everyone know how special she is to him. When he reaches the door he calls Ishita she comes towards him he tells to her get ready by 4:00 clock we will go to meet Sarika and don't do any work take rest so saying he leaves Ishita is standing at the entrance with a smile and gooey look. He just turns to see her standing with a smile for him just before he drove away.
Ishita comes back home and says to mummyji I am going to amma house for some time Toshjii says wait I will also come with you as she has stick orders from her son to take care of his madrasan and she is also looking for a way to apologize to Ishita for her behavior during Param fiasco.
Once they enter amma house Toshji and her amma started their pet fight so she leaving the two alone to fight goes in search of her Vandu akka who is staying with her amma as her due date is near. Vandu and Ishita were preparing a list of things for the upcoming MiMi marriage and talking about mundane things as to what needs to be done. Vandu asked do you know who is coming to the apartment next to yours. Ishita says to her I don't have any idea as it is leased by a company and people keep changing depending on how long they are required to stay for work. I hope we get nice neighbors just like last time. Vandu asks is she okay (thinking about her nightmare)? Ishita thinks she is asking about her fever and says to her I am okay just tired she notices her akka is looking at her differently when she is about to ask Vandu why she was looking at her that way Vandu changes the topic she takes Ishu hand and keeps it in her stomach and Ishu could feel the baby kicking in its womb Ishu is ecstatic feeling the sensation of baby moving and a little bit sad as she cannot experience this inside her as well and her pupil gets widened and eyes gets misted with each baby kicking.
Both the mothers come inside the room happily finishing their fight. They see Ishu eyes are misted and rush to her asking is she is okay. She says to them she is okay these are happy tears as she felt the baby moving Toshjii then tells her it is time for your medicine and you need to take rest. They come home and Toshjii starts feeding her knowing that she won't eat properly as she will be thinking about the baby. Ishita says to her mummyjii I can eat by myself Toshjii tells her I know I am not Raman and you like to be feed by him only but bear with me and eat now otherwise you will not eat properly. Ishita is smiling and blushing at her mother-in-law words.
Shagun is seeing this from the couch and thinking she never had this type of beautiful relationship with her mother-in-law. She is thinking back on the time she spent with Toshjii to see whether she has any memories of them together but the only thing which comes to her mind is that her mother-in-law showered all her love in the first few days of her marriage then on afterwards it was a co-existent relationship neither happy nor sad but after she made Raman fight with his dad due to her lies their relationship took a turn for worse and finally when she betrayed Raman only hatred was left. Shagun for the first time is realizing the value of relationship in a small corner of her heart but then her narcissistic way creep up she is thinking why am I bothering about a relationship that doesn't exist for me I just want status as Raman wife again I should be planning about how to get that and goes away from there.
Raman tries calling Ishita but she was not picking up the phone so he then calls Toshjii to see status of Ishita whether she has eaten and is taking rest. Toshjii says to him don't worry puttar I have feed my bahu and she is sleeping peacefully now concentrate on your work. Raman is feeling little embarrassed that his mother has caught on him that his concentration is more with his madrasan rather than work.
The kids come back from school and rush to Ishita room to see how she is doing. Ishita is getting ready to go out with Raman to meet Sarika. Adi is surprised to see her dressed in the sari he gave her. He thought that she was simply saying that she was going to wear that sari just to please him he never thought she would wear it as his mother always makes so many promises but never keeps them.
Raman came home he doesn't stop to talk to anyone in the hall but rushes inside to see his JRK first and was flabbergasted to see her dressed simply but eloquently. He always wanted to give her compliments on her sari but always ended up taunting her because he did not want to reveal to her how much he was affected by her but today without any fear he could say to her because the sari was given by Adi.
Raman comes near her, circles around her and says hey madrasan your taste in your sari has much improved. You look beautiful in this Ishita blushes and tells him the credit goes to my son Adi. Raman tells to her see my son has brains like me that is why he selected such a beautiful sari. Adi is happy hearing them talk about him with love and is also enjoying the banter of parents for the first time. Ruhi could not give up on her Ishima she tells her papa because Ishima is beautiful whatever she wears looks good on her. Raman just picks up his cutie gives her kiss and says to her Ishima ke chamiche(Ishima pet) and with her on his hands gives a hug to Adi saying to him don't become like your sister as Ishima ka chamiche always be your papa son. Adi is slowly learning and enjoying of being part of the family.

Note: I know some of you wanted Shagun to be gone out of the Bhalla house but for the time being she is staying here. She is integral part of my story you will see in that in the following updates.
