I was technically born a Hindu and for all legal purposes, I am still a hindu. It would be quite impractical to change "religion" at this juncture of life.

As for personal beliefs, I choose to believe in God, but I DO NOT believe in religion, that is, in institutionalizing God. Religion might have its usefulness in being a cohesive force in a community but it appeals to a power deemed as absolute and those who hold the reigns to such power are anyway human and so much fallible - as everyone knows - power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Blaise Pascal said, "Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction."

I am a Hindu by birth, I am not interested in changing my religion. In every religion there is a way for peaceful life. It is not necessary to change once religion.
