Why did Voldemort Collapse?? - Page 2

May be it's because it's the 1st time he himself had destroyed his horcrux without even knowing. May be that's why he could feel it. The other horcruxes were destryed by others.

I don't know but maybe it has something to do with Voldemort killing his own part of the soul or something along that line

or maybe something to do with Harry's blood running through him but I don't see how that would affect it

ok harry and voldemort share the same blood line.....so as long as voldy is alive harry cannot die, bcus a part of him is still alive.....and as for voldy collapsing he did not feel the horcrux being destroyed inside harry, cus he was not aware of it........if he knew that harry was a horcrux then he would not think him to be dead......also voldy did a mistake using harrys blood that made harry stronger....because he cannot be killed by voldy...whereas another person could....on the other hand if voldy had used anothers blood then he might have been able to kill harry. As for him collapsing it signalled that the horcrux inside harry was finally finished...and the protection that was in voldys through the use of harrys blood also died....another reason could be that harry is a human and this is a first human horcrux whereas all the others were either objects or creature(nagini)....also harry was by far the strongest and the most hadrest horcrux to be destroyed and it was crucial that voldy himself did it therefore he felt the inpact and thats why he collapsed.

No I dun think its like "As long as Voldy is alive Harry cant die". If anyone else other than Voldemort had tried killing Harry, Harry wud have died(so wud the part of Voldy's soul in him). The reaon Voldmeort cann kill Harry is coz they share the same blood with Lily's sacrifice. Thus, Neither can kill each other. If someone tries killing Harry say a Death Eater kills him ...he will die even if Voldemort is alive.

Yeah Lakshmi me too thinks on the same line........I think that voldy collapsed not for the fact that the part of Voldy within harry destroyed.........but for the fact that the He is sharing the same blood containing Lily's sacrifice........this time the killing curse doesn't fully rebounce like the Godric Hollow's incident bcoz this time it kills the part of Voldy in Harry leaving Harry untouched........ but remember DD told Harry that the connection between Harry & voldy is so inter-related & complex..........I think that connection made him fall down
