MC4 not up to the standard?

I was looking at season 2 episodes..So many individual tasks and the tasks are tougher...Even with veg season, they could have come up with dishes from different states of India...I am wondering why so many group tasks and even tasks seem simpler..Jut watch a few older episodes and you will understand what i am trying to say...They could make the contestants work with a variety of dishes--Like quinoa, oats and bring up new recipes..Even desserts from different parts of India..They seem to be stuck up on khandvi ghevar and the likes...

So far they've only cooked Punjabi, Rajasthani, Gujarati and Malyali (Kerala) cuisine.

As far as international is concerned we've only seen Italian.

There's so much more to indian cuisine - Kashmiri, sindhi, North east, Goan, Bengali - each so different from the other.

I understand all participants don't have exposure to international cuisine but chinese is pretty common in India and I haven't seen that either.

Atleast from contestants with exposure I'd have liked seeing some international elements - Middle Eastern (though we did get hummus), Mexican (quesadillas were tried), thai, japanese.

The above listed international cuisines are now popular and easily available in metro cities in India. Don't know why they haven't been used.

Not just the cuisines, even the tasks have to be pulled up..So far they arent so good...Comparatively!

Or they could try something completely different like Ethiopian food or Hawaiian (e.g. poi). So many things that they could have tried this season...

I love the fast food idea. I remember seeing a round in another MC where they had to take canned food to another level.
