Meteor Garden or ..

For me it would be Hana Yori Dango cause its alot shorter also they took it right form the Manga and didnt add any extra that wasnt there..Meteor Garden added soo many other things that it got annyion....Plus the guys looked alot better in Hana Yori Dango, and dressed better..Meteor Garden they dressed kinda weird at 1st...No make that really weird at 1st! But then they were back to normal! Daoming Si was really hott!!!

i have to say hyd series . here is why
1) makino comes across as a sweet but strong woman, on the other hand shankai comes across as concieted and crude not to mention extremely proud.
2)domsi turns into a wimp once he falls for shan cai( i can't understand when he weeps or takes shan cai's abuse and indecision in stride ...for god's sake he is rich and powerful) in mg but domyouiji retains his pride and attitude even after he falls for makino (he is still same old self centered, hot headed and mean person but has become slightly more gentle and understanding, he never cajoles or cuddles makino but stands by her in his own way)one scene that i loved was in the party(the first kiss episode), the way domyouji walks makes you feel he is a prince and is here to hold a court...there is an odd superiority and leadership in that walk.
3)hyd has the plush feel(bmws,extravagant parties, designer clothes and fashions you would not see on streets) you expect where a majority of characters come from insanely wealthy families , mg fails on that account, the stars go around in very casual clothes.
4) kill me for saying this but while hyd boasted an ace cast good at acting even though they were average looking, mg had a good looking cast with minimal acting capability.

5) domsi's sister tries to solve the dillema between two guys by forcing shancai to sleep with one guy . interestingly domsi weeps and cries but never barges in the room in his house where the couple is supposed to be making out (what a wimp!!!). and if only the matters of heart could be solved by sleeping around(completely immature).in hyd series domyouji's sister displays immense maturity...she actually guides domyouji when she tells him that love means changing and waiting not using force...we also have a credible reason for her attitude(she has been in those shoes herself).

6)in hyd domyouji's mother is wordly wise but not completely heartless(she allows them a last kiss in hyd1, accepts makino in hyd2 eventually), by comparison dom si's mom is simple evil...she drugs her son to break the couple off. also domsi never really opposes his mom directly, in fact his friends keep thinking strategies and pulling them off .in comparison in hyd whenever anyone is in trouble domyouji actually stands up to his mom, he is the one who tries resolving issues.

I agee with every word you said, your like toally right about everythin! lol I didnt even think about all them things that you said, but soo soooooo ture!!!! Wa ya said makes me love HYD even more now!
