Hats off to that "remarkable sovereign" as well for being so open minded in 16th Century, and acknowledge her talent, some thing which was lacking in that era. The more we dig, the more exciting and surprising incidences emerge about JA. :)

About the proofs, what to say. ROFL.
I have become quite famous(:-P) for giving such books as references which no one has read except me and which normally breathe their last when i get my hands on them. :-P

I don't know what is someone's fault in all this, if the sources are such. These are old records, some are too old to be scanned.

Yes , she was something different. How i wish CV's had portrayed this side of her personality in a better manner. There is NO doubt on Akbar , he is well known as ONE OF THE GREATest sovereigns, and will continue to be so. But, this show could have done something more on her front, her image is still ONLY of a wife and her influence on Akbar. Wish, her business side and her philanthropy would have been shown in a royal manner, not like what happens in the show.

Anyway, we will keep posting, the thing is that, when you want to REALLY search some thing, you will get the references for sure. Online sources rarely give all details. Our Libraries hold lot of books/records. :)
