Today's episode MADE me sit in front of my laptop and type despite my vision being partially blurred thanks to the cold and cough and a constantly running nose!
I wouldn't have bothered writing a review had it not been a CRACKER of an episode...after ages! đ đ
I say after ages because today, not just MaNan, but EVERYTHING was on point! Just like the good ol' days. đł
From start to finish, it was BRILLIANTLY executed, so good that I could easily see through Mukti and her psychogiri for once.
Acting-wise, both Utkarsh and Charlie were a letdown. đđź Especially I felt bad in Utkarsh's case as his scene with Manik/Fab 5 would have been unforgettable had he been better.
But the star of today's episode was none other than our beloved Parth! đ đ (When I say 'beloved'...đ)
Honestly dude, you reminded me of your famous "HAAN HAAN HOON MAIN MONSTER!!" A personal favourite of mine!
Just when I was thinking that I could do with a dose of angry/intense Manik to get my pheels back- which were mutilated so badly by a certain VG- the episode gave me some much-needed boost!
Dhruv didn't just come off as silly, insecure, immature to me today...he came off as outright DISGUSTING! 𤢠đ¤˘
His words to Manik- that I can understand, but his words to Alya? That was UNFORGIVABLE!
"Manik can have you"...there...he said it! That made me CRINGE! I'm amazed that Alya didn't beat the shit outta him because I DEFINITELY wanted to!
The guy who till now came off as a mysterious yet understanding, troubled yet caring friend got the much-needed heat in the form of jealousy and insecurity and showed his true colours!
Maybe the caring/understanding friend is still there somewhere, just like there was a human inside the Monster Manik- but right now, he is bound by his own hatred and jealousy towards the very person who, in Alya's words, made him what he is today!

Manik has grown distant from his best buddy w/o realizing it, but that never meant that he'd stop caring...he'd NEVER stop caring!
He never stopped caring even after breaking Nandini's heart to pieces, not because he felt guilty of her situation or responsible for her tears, BUT because he LOVES her, just like he'd loved Dhruv!
He doesn't care whom Dhruv is dating w/o telling him, even if the girl happens to be her ex-girlfriend, but what hit him hard were his words!
Words can do more damage than actions ever can. Actions can be justified but words are like arrows- once thrown, cannot be taken back.
"Your favours are suffocating me!" There...he said it!
And who else but his shining star to his rescue? She knows when she should speak or make him speak. She also knew when to leave him alone because she knew, it will be HIM, coming to her, looking for the solace that only she can provide since he first hugged her without telling her what's wrong with him.
And just because she knew, she let him vent his anger on the benches but quietly walked out when he asked her to.
But for how long...he was broken and he knew that no one can mend him but her.
"You are right...I need you." There...he said it!
