Must say that Sanjay Gupta and Mohit suri are professionals in copying

There are plenty of examples, but the one that comes immediately to mind is Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha (1998)... Majorly inspired by 'French Kiss' (1995), and Indianized quite a bit, but some scenes have been clearly copied frame-by-frame. The scene in which Kajol starts freaking out in the hotel reminded me way too much (especially Kajols expressions) of a similar scene in French Kiss. 😕

I was watching Humko Deewana Kar Gaye (2006) the other night and I was so shocked when I saw how many scenes were how should I say... reminiscent of HW films - the whole Akshay spilling something on Katrina and him inviting her back to his house and him having a horrible roommate was totally like Notting Hill (1999), even the dialogues were similar. And then that scene where the car has toppled and Akshay gets in to save Katrina reminded me of the scene in Crash (2004), Thandi Newton was telling Matt Dillon to let her go... so was Katrina telling Akshay and in both scenes, the seatbelt was stuck and they had to cut it with a shard of glass lying around the accident scene and in both cases the cars catch alight and the men are pulled out against their will, the women falls in the car and then men go back in to pull the girl out and then they are comforted by the men 😆 I was too young back then to notice the dejavu but now I find it pretty hilarious 😆
