But from this spoiler, it seems to be obvious that the only reason Ahem announces his engagement to Mansi is to get back at Gopi for assuming he had remarried. He wants Gopi to stick around because he wants her to stop the engagement. I agree with angelic8219, Ahem needs to stop playing these games. Gopi and Ahem are parents to grown up daughters. They should resolve their issues like mature adults. But no, they would rather play these games. And of course Kokila will intervene as she is the third person in this marriage so she's bound to want to have her say.

Meanwhile, Ahem will string Mansi along and all will cry foul when she goes crazy and starts attacking the family. My question is why involve a third person in your mess in the first place?

Regarding Ahem and divorce, I don't think he wants to get a divorce from Gopi. The guy's an attention seeker. He only wants Gopi to follow him around like a lovesick puppy in order to feed that big fat ego of his. It's up to Gopi to either follow this wish of his or walk out of this marriage with her self-respect and dignity intact. Reestablishing a connection with her daughters should be her first priority. Ahem can go to hell, he's never gonna change.

Yes, I too agree with angelic8219 that Ahem should stop playing these games. Ahem never even succeeded in these games he played. It was Gopi who provoked him about this due to which Ahem announced his engagement. As matured parents, they should resolve the differences but they never did that. In the previous leap, Gopi & Ahem resolved their differences by themselves. So they should be much more sensible now but the sad thing is that they screwed it up & Kokila had to intervene.

The spoiler still needs to show what Kokila will do in the engagement ceremony to stop this engagement.

In the previous video spoiler, Ahem pushed Jigar & Gopi out of his house so how do the couple meet again? This is the question I have in my mind now.

If Ahem does not want divorce from Gopi, who else can be a punching bag for him? Mansi will never allow him to do that. Vidya never called Mansi as her mom. She only considers Gopi as her mom.

Ahem gave Meera's responsibility to Vidya when they go out together. I think if Vidya leaves Meera & Ahem, even Meera will eventually join her & even Ahem will come back.

Did she ask him why he didn't stop her when she left home or why did he make no attempt to go find her? What if she and her unborn child had died, how would Ahem and co. have found out? Did he ask her how did she cope on her own for 8 years? Did he ask her how she managed her pregnancy all alone with no support? Did she stand up for her dignity and self-respect in front of him? Has she ever reprimanded him for his downright disgusting behaviour towards her?

When Kokila broke ties with Gopi after Jigar left home with Paridhi, again he followed his mother and turned away from Gopi. If Gopi was not in that accident and nearly slipped into a coma, would Ahem have resolved their problems?

So when have Gopi and Ahem ever resolved their differences by themselves? They don't even talk about their differences or their feelings. Ahem gets angry, Gopi leaves. Or Gopi leaves, Ahem gets angry. What follows is mind games from Ahem and someone else to intervene and push Ahem and Gopi back together. But the issues remain unresolved.
