See you on Monday with two updates people.
Taking Sunday off!
25. Economics of apocalypse
There was splatter of zombie blood drying across Payal's face, her short hair wild and eyes crazy calm. They watched Payal unload food, clothing and other necessities retrieved from a nearby town. Everyone took turn going into town. Akash proudly called the system it as democratic utopia, only to have Arjun correct it gently and call it communist utopia instead. The two had spent rest of the day talking about economics.
"Payal is coping well." Arnav observes.
Khushi hums. "I haven't seen her this alive. Especially after how she tried to kill herself five months ago."
"It feels like lifetime."
I will respond to comments tonight. Have a great day everyone!
26. Post-apocalyptic realism
"How many satellites are in earth's orbit?" Khushi asked.
"At least 2500." Arnav replied. "No talk about cure?" He asked Arjun who was only a step behind them.
"Population is dwindling. I doubt there are many scientists alive." Arjun replied. "You know what I am most disappointed about? As humanity we have failed to discover space. We didn't even get to land on Mars." His voice was sad.
"Why are we taking horses with us?" She asked.
"At the military base they will be bred. Future of transportation."
"We should take puppies and kittens too. Future of sanity." Khushi retorted.

Ditto. I was thinking about prisoners in jail yesterday. Did any manage to break-free? Are there criminals / psychopaths amongst survivors? 😆

I've been following this piece for quite some time now but did not have the heart to give any sort of feedback because I fear my views will be very one-dimensional. The fruitful discussions that go on here has helped me garner newer perspectives on various subjects and so has your writing. I am still not a very eloquent child and while I am afraid I do not have much to contribute to the debates that take place here, I can warrant you of a faithful reader and thinker you have in me.
Brilliant job with this!Thank you for sharing your work with us! :)
