| It~{!/~}s television actress Rakhanda Khan~{!/~}s birthday today and her costars have a great idea for a birthday gift: a driver! Khan (who stars in Kyunki saas~{!-~} and Jassi) has changed 10 drivers since January.
Her friends say they are surprised that her current driver, Samir, has stayed with her for two months, as none of her former drivers have remained for more than three weeks.

They either leave as they cannot meet her expectations of flawless driving or they are asked to leave when she loses her patience with them.
~{!0~}Madam shouts a lot every time I take a turn. At times I falter, not because of the traffic, but due to the constant distraction from her,~{!1~} said one of her ex-drivers, on condition of anonymity.
Paranoid about car
In her defense Khan says, ~{!0~}Though I know how to drive and have a license, I need to be driven around.
I am paranoid about getting a dent on my car. Honestly, I~{!/~}m not even scared of hurting myself or having an accident. But the car is my most prized possession (she owns a Toyota Corolla) and I ensure that it looks spanking new all the time.~{!1~}
Accident-prone
Says her choreographer friend Geeta Kapur, ~{!0~}Just this month in a scene where she had to drive a short distance, she ran over a spot boy~{!/~}s feet and he had to be hospitalised for two days. After that even when he passes her on the set he turns away.~{!1~}
Adds Khan, ~{!0~}I know that if I even attempt to drive home from the sets, Mumbai~{!/~}s population will be halved.~{!1~} Says Kapur, ~{!0~}I~{!/~}ve tried to help her overcome her fear by practising near Linking Road in Malad, but in vain.~{!1~}
Mannat
Her mother Sheharbanu Khan has even kept a mannat that her daughter~{!/~}s drivers don~{!/~}t quit.
Every time her driver quits, it~{!/~}s a hurricane task for her father Dr Mohammed Farooq Khan and her friends to find a replacement. If the driver is late or does not arrive, Khan cancels her shoot or takes a rickshaw, but she refuses to get behind the wheel.
