Ahem to invite Gopi for his engagement ceremony in Saathiya

so let me get this straight! gopi comes out of jail after 10 years to find her husband has been playing merry with another woman whilst she is rotting in jail for the past 10 years and to add insult to injury replaced gopi with that same woman as the mother of his children. He discovers she is out of jail and smugly announces he has moved on from her and is now getting engaged, and then even has the guts to actually invite her to come for the engagement of his to this other woman. W*F! does ahem even have a guilty conscience. he dropped this massive bombshell of a news on her after she has come out of jail after all these years waiting to return to her family and he expects her to come to this engagement knowing how heart broken she would be from hearing all this. What if it was gopi who had done this to ahem; how would he have dealed with this?

So now if she goes it would cause her pain to see him get engaged to another woman but if despite ahem giving the invitation she is too hurt and devastated to attend and doesn't go, ahem would be mad at her for rejecting his invitation. no wonder she chooses to go. She should have just said to his face, that how dare you cheat on me all these years whilst i'm rotting away in jail yearning to return to my family then expect me to actually watch him replace her with another woman in his life by attending the engaement when she just found out the truth. i would have said that if he can move on so will i and if she moves on with the guy she should rub it in his ugly miserable face 😡

No doubt being apart from her family was unbearable. But she sat there in jail thinking everything must be hunky-dory at home because Maaji and Ahemji were there to take care of things. It was also her decision alone to cut off contact with the family. As they say, ignorance is bliss...

Btw, nowhere am I saying Ahem was right. Ahem has always been a spineless moron. But if I was in Gopi's shoes, I wouldn't expect anything better from a man who was ready to marry her own sister just to get back at her.
