Chapter: 20
Raman got up from sleep sensing something was not right when he turned towards Ishita he saw she was tossing and turning he moved closer to her to calm her down but when he touched her she started screaming her screaming woke up everyone in the house her scream was so loud that even the Iyers came to their room.
When everyone came they saw Raman was trying to wake up Ishita from her nightmare. Ruhi was asking what happened to her Ishimaa and Adi was standing worried near her for his Ishita aunty. Toshjii said to Ruhi it's nothing your Ishimaa is having a bad dream and your papa is trying to wake her up from sleep then she asks Rinki to take the kids to bed. Shagun is disturbed by all the screaming she puts a pillow in her head and says they want even let me sleep in peace.
Raman realizes that Ishita is running a temperature and is mentally scolding her for playing in the rain and asks Mihir to call the doctor home. Raman is still trying to wake her up when she slaps Raman everybody is shocked by her actions it doesn't even bother him as he is worried what she is thinking about in her fever she is behaving like this. Raman tries to shake her up when she again starts beating him then Romi and Mihir try to hold her from hitting Raman she becomes more violent like a wounded animal trying to save its life. Raman could not see her in this state he asks them to leave her when they are unsure he says it is okay if she beats me I cannot stand to see her like this please leave her.
Raman loosens his touch and gently tries to wake her up. She calms down a little bit once the hold on her is loosened but without her knowing everyone hears her side of the conversion as she is babbling about it in her delirious state while sleeping Ishita is telling mummyjii and Simmi please believe me I can tell that Parmeet came to my room with wrong intentions he grabbed me from behind and was trying to touch me. She then tells mummyjii believe me I did not tell anything which happened here to Raman. Toshjii realizes that she is talking about the time she scolded Ishita that she was trying to bring a rift in brother sister relationship with her unaccounted accusation. Toshijii really feels bad for her now because she did not believe her then. Raman and Mihir realize at the same time that this is what has been bothering her when he called from Mumbai to talk to her and when Mihir came to see her after his conversation with Raman. Simmi can now see clearly how her husband started misbehaving with her.
Ishita is still in the same state. Ishita tells to Param stop right there you cannot scare me in my own house. I am the bahu of this house I am not like Sarika to bear the injustice without telling anyone. I will ruin you. Ishita is thinking how he says you are different than her she is characterless and how Raman is not taking care of her and how much he wanted to give her the pleasure given by a man to her. Ishita tells to him that you are creep I am warning you to stay away from me. Ishita is thinking how he said he is her servant whatever she wants he will do it for her and how he made her sit in a chair and was explaining the situation that since she could not become a mother so there want be any side effects to their affair. Ishita hearing this slaps at him but the person she connected with is Raman who was sitting near her unconsciously his hold on her tightened once again she remembers how Parmeet hold on her tightened after she slapped to him. Ishita started thinking what he said after she slapped him that he will ruin her life he comes closer to her she breaks the contact and runs from him but he says he will not leave her easily and she fights back with Parmeet to save herself from getting molested but the person she was hitting now was Raman as his hold on her tightened to wake her up from the nightmare when he saw amma trying to hold Ishu she became more violent Raman asked amma to leave her once their hold on her loosened she started crying Raman trust me I never sent any of those SMS. I don't know how it came from there do you remember that you could not reach me as my phone was out of charge I did not have my phone with me please trust me and started crying uncontrollably.
Raman thinking back on the incident could not bear to see his JKR was fighting tooth and nail with that villain but crying uncontrollably because she felt that he did not trust her. He thinks to himself I never doubted you for a minute but I was in a helpless state to openly declare myself to you at that time. Simmi is taken back to that day and how she slapped Ishita for her useless husband she was crying uncontrollably Toshjii took Simmi out of the room to console her.
In the meanwhile the doctor came she tested Ishita and told them her temperature is high so she will be delirious for some more time make sure she is well taken care off and if her temperature rises you have to admit her in the hospital for now I have given medication to get her fever down so saying she left the bhalla house.
Everyone for the first time realized firsthand what Ishita went through the Param fiasco how each ones word and action affected her but she never complained about it to anyone.Everyone was thinking in their own way they have to make it up to her. Raman sends everyone out of their room saying that he will take care of her amma wants to stay with Ishita but Raman says to her you need to take care of Vandu as she needs you more I am there to take care of Ishita reluctantly amma agrees to it.
Once everyone leaves their room Raman closes the door comes near her to see that she is sleeping peacefully due to the medication sits near her takes her head and places it in his lap gently and cries thinking about all the pain she has to go through in this house of which she never uttered a word to him.

The lines in blue are what Ishita is thinking nobody knew about it. Hopefully you guys will like how I am taking this story for me there are many unsolved issues in the drama I want to clear them out in my story.
They never showed what a woman goes through after being a victim of molestation I wanted everyone in the bhalla family to know what she felt during those few minutes hopefully I have done justice to it.
