I had stopped watching this show in January after Viraj claimed to love Arti & not Nisha. I was OK with him not reciprocating his feelings for Nisha, but why Arti? LOL that was so random & weird. Because the strength that he thought Arti gave him, Nisha gave him too. By being there with him physically, by fighting for him & with him. Couldn't take the stupidity & left the show. But with all the buzz surrounding the show these days, I decided to check it out again.

And WOW so many things have changed in the show. Some for good, some for bad. But I wanted to share my thoughts about Nisha/Kabir/Viraj since that's pretty much what the forum is fighting😆 i mean discussing about.

I started off shipping Viraj/Nisha when Viraj entered. He was like a source of inspiration for her, he gave her comfort, helped her let go of her fears relating to being touched & taught her to love. Their scenes were beautiful. There was something so real about their conversations & interactions, without too much of eyelocks & drama. Even though he didn't love her or realise that he loves her, I looked forward to their bonding & their scenes. Even when he rejected her, I loved how Nisha supported him through thick & thin & stood as a strong woman by his side, without expecting anything in return.

In this whole process, more than Viraj/Nisha, it was Nisha who I grew to love. I ship Nisha, truly. Because of her strength, because of her selfless love, & because of how amazing she is. Viraj always said 'nothing's tough' but it was Nisha who truly lived her life on those principles. Viraj, on the other hand, stopped mattering to me. He was a coward, who spoke of Lakshya academy as his dream but didn't have the courage to even fight for it. Nisha did so much for him, & I would perfectly understand that sometimes you can't force love, but the least I expected was for him to be overwhelmed & give Nisha a hug, or shed a tear, indicating how touched he was. But he remained as cold, just like how he did not react when he found out that Nisha loved him. And the revelation happened... hearts broke. I moved on from Nisha/Viraj. They both deserve better, though I doubt that Viraj can ever get someone better than Nisha.

Enter Kabir. A sweet, fun-loving, great guy. He witnessed the break-up & wanted to cheer Nisha up because he can't see anyone being sad. So he wanted to help her out. Life gave him a second chance & they met during her trip. Their scenes were/are such a contrast to what Viraj/Nisha were. Their conversations are chilled out, they support each other & there is a comfort level they share. But I don't see anything beyond friendship. YES Mishkat & Aneri have great chemistry. However, IMO that is not reason enough for me to want to ship them. So far, the way Kabir's track has been handled/executed, his only role seems to be that of cheering Nisha up & being a further hurdle when its revealed that he is Viraj's brother. I don't see his character going beyond that in the story. Quite unlike Viraj, who seemed to have an identity beyond Nisha in the initial days, though he got reduced to Nisha's love interest.

I have no idea what the CVs are planning, but unlike majority, both the pairings Viraj/Nisha & Kabir/Nisha are not working for me. What Nisha said in today's episode sums up how I feel about both these tracks. Viraj is history, & Kabir/Nisha are just friends. They are both great guys in their own ways, but that does not justify Nisha having to make a choice & end up with one of them.

Why is it so necessary that Nisha must have a guy? I don't think she needs to have a guy. She is perfectly fine, strong & independent on her own.

Do share your thoughts.

Cheers,
Samridhi

I completely agree with you. I don't understand why this serials always show thata girl always requires a guy...
Without a guy a girl can't be anything...She always need him as support n fight her problems...

That's not true...

I know Viraj n Kabir helped Nisha in many ways,but now Nisha can handle herself n become an independent women... Y her life should revolve around Viraj n Kabir... I mean only love n marriage are not the priority in a girl's life..

I was expecting that Cvs will now concentrate on Nisha becoming a strong n independent woman,but they just keep pairing Nisha with one or other guy...😡😡😡

My thoughts echo yours for the most part.

Although I'd also like to add this: while I did initially sort-of like Nisha-Viraj, I was also pretty wary of any relationship between them. Nisha put Viraj on a super high pedestal. So their relationship was unequal from the get-go. She always acted weird around him and wanted to impress him. Secondly, I actually really liked it when Viraj didn't reciprocate Nisha's love. Why should he? As it was an unequal relationship, he always thought of her as his employee/ mentee. It was never love. As for his current love declaration, I think the CVs have messed up his characterization there. It would've been more realistic to have some moments where Viraj thinks about how Aarti is technically Nisha and how Nisha did so much for him, and THEN falls in love with her, rather then him blurting it out to Kaira after 2 flashbacks of Nisha being immature and silly.

And I actually do ship Kabir-Nisha. But as friends AND lovers. I can see great potential in their relationship, if it ever happens (which I don't see happening anytime soon) because it's one based on equality and comfort. Nisha and Kabir don't care about impressing each other. So I can see a good relationship developing between the two. But that also doesn't stop me from shipping them as friends. I don't really see Nisha-Kabir's relationship as Nisha moving on with Kabir to get over Viraj. Rather, I see Kabir helping her through it platonically. Yes, I agree it would've been absolutely fantastic to see Nisha moving on by herself. But she faltered and was not able to do so. That's where Kabir entered. It's not bad to take someone's help to move on, and that's exactly what is happening between the two. Nisha is learning to let go.

Also, I don't think the show is showing that a girl always needs a guy to help her. Nisha has shown MANY times that she doesn't need anyone to back her. She's able to take many things head on. So what if she faltered when it came to facing heart-break? Everyone has weaknesses. But she is still combating it and facing it headstrong and Kabir is merely supporting her through it. It's not bad to have support. The cousins are also supporting her.

That said, I agree that I ship Nisha as well :)

YES. I agree on what you added in regarding Viraj/Nisha. I forgot to add this in. I was also wary of Nisha/Viraj's relationship. She idolized him, & always saw the good side of him. I always felt that they would come to a point where she would see the bad side to him as well, which happened & things would start to fade. Her heart had to break. It was inevitable. And yes, I also loved that Viraj did not reciprocate Nisha's feelings. But that track could have been handled better post rejection. Viraj falling for Arti was weird IMO. Because I don't see how Arti was any different from Nisha. I wished that Viraj realised that Arti was that side of Nisha which he failed to see, even though it was always there. Even at the moment, I don't know where the CVs are going with Viraj's character. On one hand, he misses Nisha (that too suddenly) & on the other, he insults her at the holi party.

I agree partly on Nisha/Kabir. I ship them as friends. I see the potential. If I have to give a reason why the pairing is not working for me as lovers is because of the way the track played out. The way Viraj/Nisha met & how things played out between them was much more realistic. Kabir comes across as very filmy & unrealistic at times. The typical good guy who Nisha hugs by chance on the day of break-up & then them saving a girl & the whole goons behind them drama. I wish the setting was a little more realistic. It would have made more sense to me if you get what I mean.

I agree that the show has always shown Nisha to be a strong woman who can handle situations on her own & has guts. But at the moment, everything in the show seems to be revolving around Kabir/Nisha & Viraj/Nisha if you get what I mean. And now the latest spoiler.. the family wanting Nisha/Kabir to get married. I wish Kabir wasn't introduced so soon. I really would have liked Nisha spending some time alone on the trip post her heartbreak.

That said, I agree that I ship Nisha as well :)
That makes two of us. Thank you for replying!

@ganga123456

We have to give some credit to the CVs so far because Nisha is a relatively stronger female character, compared to many other daily soaps. But yes, I hope we get to see Nisha becoming independent soon without too much focus on Kabir/Nisha marriage or Viraj wooing Nisha back. Its nice to see Nisha starting to work at the shop :)

Nice to know that there are number of people who think similarly regarding the way the show has shaped up!

Nice to know that you are watching this show Samridhi. Can I expect some awesome VMs from you then?

I ship Nisha too. She is a strong, selfless woman & deserves the best. Despite that I am quite looking forward to see how the story between Viraj, Kabir & Nisha shapes up. I like her with both men. I would love to see Viraj beg & apologize to Nisha while she walks away. I wont deny, though, that I wish Nisha would get a chance to have a happy world with Viraj since that would make her happy. I feel that she still loves him. At the same time, I would also love to see Kabir fall in love with Nisha. If I have to pick Kabir is definitely the better choice for Nisha. But at the same time I agree with you on the way their track has been executed. It would be nice if it was more realistic like the way Viraj & Nisha's track happened.

@EBPfan

VMs.. i am not sure! Depends really if I am inspired.

I get what you are saying totally. And yes, I am ok with both Kabir & Viraj battling it out at one point, but I just hope the show doesn't lose focus of the fact that it is about Nisha & her cousins.
