Hey everyone,

Did you all see the latest Telly buzz article? According to the article Sharmin Kazi is quitting MDG as her contract of sixty days expired and she doesn't want to renew it. Sana Amin Sheikh will replace her as Avanti Bhansal.

What do you all think? I'm not sure how I feel about this development and it seemed to come completely out of left field and don't know if I quite see Sana as Avanti Bhansal. I would have loved to see Sharmin continue to play Avanti but at the end of the day it's her choice.

that is really disappointing..she was doing an awesome job as avanti..i cant imagine somebody else doing that role..but its really weird..its only 2.5 months since the show is launched n they change the lead actor arnd whom the plot revolves..which prodtn house makes a contract of 60days for the lead character??!! 😕

Yeah it is really weird that they only had a sixty day contract with Sharmin. Usually lead protagonists are signed on for six month or year long contracts, so this is kinda weird. It's also going to make everything confusing and complicated as they already shot for the future episode and so I wonder if they'll change them or just reuse them.

maybe they wouldnt have shot that much..sana has started shooting since yest..this is a shocking surprise..but y wouldnt sharmin continue in this show??!!

Yeah it came as a shock because as far as I could tell in all of her interviews she has been excited about this show, praised it and promoted it and so not sure what she means when she said would like to do daily shows? MDG is a daily show but maybe she wants to prime time melodrama now.i wonder if she has any lead protoganist offers because if not this could be a big mistake to quit in less than six months.

I cannot watch this show without Sharmin Di. 😭

I have nothing against sana sheikh, but i dont know was just used to sharmin, she did a good job as avanti bansal..doubt if the chemistry between vikram and sana will be the same..

wht does she means, that it's not in her hands, it was in her hands, she could have renewed her contract, but she didnt. On what basis she is telling that this was not in her hands. M sorry for being rude, but m highly frustated. Next time, mai kisi bhi serial ke kisi bhi character se kabhi attach nahi houngi. Jis jisse hui hu, wo sab aise hi chale gaye, ab mai thak gayi.
