Yes I watched it, It was very sad, listening to her parents, if you watch the end part the words of the father when he says both he and his wife too, have no problem with her name being used but what is important is what is going to come afterwards, he said the mentality of people in society need to change, thats the message I took from the film, but I cried tears listening to her mother talk, everything the mother said about the blame being on the girl but the men not taking responsibility or blame themselves for committing the crimes, the lawyers and offenders saying thats just the way it is we are men and are dogs but girls shouldn't come out after dark otherwise this will happen, its just an accepted thing, but the parents are saying no we should not accept it but change things for our daughters.
So its an education thing, how men are raised needs to change, respect women and girls in society, no means no, girls have equal importance as men, they can use their brains and achieve as much as men, if transportation, buses are available to take people home in the evening and night, safety is important in society for girls and women especially during the night, there are some problems to be fixed.

you know what saddened me more
that the literate people like the lawers said such things like ''if a girl goes out of the house after 8 she is bound to get rape and t is her fault'' and the culprit was not at all guilty indeed he was like ''is mein kaun si badi baat hai??'' like kya?? rape is not a big deal??? what kind of a society is this??</div><div>
