Mumbai, Mar 10: Deepika singh aka Sandhya of "Diya Aur Baati Hum" hits her co-star Anas Rashid, alleges sexual abuse
Well, it's news that is surely going to shock everyone especially all "Diya Aur Baati Hum" fans. Deepika Singh aka Sandhya slapped her co-star Anas Rashid on the set of "Diya Aur Baati Hum". Not only this Deepika also slapped the director Aakash, who tried to stop her from hitting Anas Rashid.
And all this happened in front of the entire unit and media. The entire cast of Diya Aur Baati Hum was shooting a combination scene. Few scenes were shot and few were left to be shot when suddenly everyone saw Deepika hitting her director Aakash and later she hurriedly moved towards Anas and slapped him. Anas tried to save himself but she hit him for the second time and this time he got hit behind his ears.
This was literally a high drama scene out of a daily soap. For a moment nobody could figure out that what actually happened? Media was immediately asked to leave the set. But slowly the sources told the story behind the entire drama. "Two days back a scene was shot between Deepika and Anas in which Anas had to hold Deepika from back. After the scene was shot Deepika alleged that Anas had some wrong intention and his touch was improper. Next day again she came on the set and kept telling everyone that Anas had sexually abused her while doing the scene. She was expecting someone to take action against Anas but when nothing happened, today she went ahead and slapped him. Also in a fit of anger Deepika slapped her director Akash who was trying to stop her" said the source.
According to a source, 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' actress Deepika Singh has slapped her co-star Anas Rashid after he misbehaved with her during the shoot on Monday evening in Mumbai.
"She was furious with the way he misbehaved with her and slapped him. The director tried to intervene and got hurt," says the source. "Anas was unapologetic about his behaviour, which irritated the actress. She does not tolerate any kind of misbehaviour from any man," the source added.
Anas and Deepika have been working on the show for over four years now, but don't talk to each other. Popularly known as Sandhya Rathi, the character from the serial, Deepika told her friends that if the actor misbehaves again she'll walk out of the show. While Deepika refused to comment on the incident, she messaged, "I am very upset and would not like to comment on it."
While Neelu Vaghela, who plays Bhabho in the show, said, "I really don't know about it as I was in the makeup room."
Anas has sent a letter to Cine And TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA) that he has concerns as he feels that Deepika is capable of making another allegation. CINTAA spokesperson Gajendra Chauhan said, "I am out of town will look into after I get back."

Deepika Singh, who is playing the role of Sandhya in Shashi-Sumeet Productions' popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus recently lost her temper and slapped his co-star Anas Rashid.
According to our sources, "Deepika was discussing something about her scenes with the creative's anddirectors of the show. At that time Anas came and started poking his nose into the matter. Initially, Deepikaignored him and then requested him to stay away. But he refused to leave and continued to interfere after which she ended up slapping him."
Deepika and Anas do not see eye-to-eye and share only a professional rapport. We tried to get in touch with them, but they remained unavailable for comment.
