Priyanka Chopra to replace Shilpa Shetty as judge of Nach Baliye?

Shilpa Shetty has been the face of the popular dance show, Nach Baliye, for three seasons now. But the makers of the dance reality show have now decided that they want to up the 'star' quotient and are looking for a bigger name to replace the actress-entrepreneur.

A source close to the development told Mirror that the "fading diva" will not be part of the seventh season.

"The makers have approached Priyanka Chopra to step into her shoes as judge. However, owing to her international commitments, the deal with PeeCee hasn't come through yet. She asked them how many days they will require and is trying to fit the show into her packed diary as it requires her to be on the set just one day in a week," said the source.

Priyanka is the Nach Baliye team's first choice as they already have her Barfi! director Anurag Basu.

"It would be a casting coup if they can get the duo to judge the show together. Modalities are being worked out and an announcement is imminent," the source added.

While the names of the participants are still under wraps, Kamaal Rashid Khan, has been confirmed. His participation is no surprise as the show is now being produced by Ekta Kapoor whose film Ek Villain, featured KRK as the baddie.
