Rani Mukerji has spent a whopping Rs 3 crores on the designing of the drawing room of her Bungalow in Juhu, Mumbai. The interiors have been done by her Mujhse Dosti Karoge co-star Hrithik Roshan's wife, Suzanne Roshan.
Our Bollywood khabru informs, "Rani had purchased a sprawling bungalow in Juhu last year but was not really satisfied by the interior decoration of her main room. She was on the lookout for the right designer who would stretch his/her creative imagination to her satisfaction. After a close friend of Rani suggested Suzanne's name, she promptly met the Bollywood superhero's wife and offered her the task."
Suzanne has a professional interior designing degree from USA under her belt and owns a decorating studio in Mumbai, The White Window. The Ta Ra Rum Pum starlet wanted the house and especially the main room to have a combined western-eastern contemporary feel to it.
"So impressed was she by Suzanne's designs that she told her not to worry about the expenses involved while decorating it. They both jointly did a lot of shopping abroad in regards to stuff to be used for the drawing room," our khabru adds.
Mighty satisfied by the end result, Rani - who has been on a property buying spree in the recent times – has also given the responsibility of her latest acquisition, a huge flat in Juhu's Janki Kutir area to Suzanne.
A close friend of the actress tells us, "Rani has always been a very impulsive buyer. The shopping binge that she went on for her prized asset has not yet stopped despite her having moved into it sometime back. She still keeps buying whatever catches her fancy, irrespective of the price tag."
Another Bollywood insider revealed, "The close friend who suggested Suzanne's name was none other than, 'good friend' Aditya Chopra."
