I have a question. In a scenario where a couple gets divorced n the custody of the kids is given to either of the parents can the other parent challenge the custody or reopen the case aftera few years? If yes then isn't it a torture for the kid to be shuffling between his parents devoiding him or her of a permanent family?

Like in yhm. How can shagun demand ruhi's custody when ishita already has a permanent custody of Ruhi?

Everything is possible in YHM land. CVs won't show C&C until June, so they are creating loopholes after loopholes.

as per laws, children under 18yrs have legal guardian and Children's preferences are generally considered after 9 years of age. Some archaic considerations still remain, which means that in case of remarriage of a woman, generally custody is not granted to her while it may be granted to a father who remarries, especially if the second wife cannot give birth. permanent custody can be reopen under certain circumstances.

Thanks for sharing ur knowledge. I still have doubts. Why make the child go through torture again n again untill there is a dire need to reopen a case.

On wat account does shagun thinks she can have ruhi or adi's custody. She has no work no money. Plus the custody was gran ted to ishita. Ruhi herself wants to stay with her ishima.
