Definitely, he's oblivious. He doesn't have the characteristic or may be the quality of reading his friend's mind and heart and he is so engrossed in his own feeling that he just fails to look at the other person. He might be a true friend but Manik is class apart. He is the backbone for his friends.

If I m not wrong isn't it was Manik who first teased Dhruv that it was his gut feeling or some other feeling.
Its not possible that none of them were aware of each others feelings towards nandini.
That's why Manik told Nandu to stay away from Dhruv.
Both of them were aware of each others feelings towards Nandini but choose to ignore it because their own feelings towards her.
Dhruv did realize something was wrong but he choose to ignore it just like Manik knew from first Dhruv has a crush on Nandini but choose to ignore it.

You know what Nicks? I want the same answer from the day 1. I wanted Dhruv to do something for Manik.

I agree that Dhruv should have notice the tears in Manik's eyes but as Manik was trying to look away from Dhruv, and Dhruv was lost in Nandu I guess it's not his fault.

But don't worry, when Dhruv will come to know about MaNan he'll help them re-unite.

valid question...but you know..when you realise that you love someone..you are so consumed with the feeling that you fail to notice anyone else, this specially holds true for Dhruv, what with his attacks that give rise to inner loathing and depression.
