Jab b woh koi number dial karti hai, apni ungli phone ghused deti hai. Aur phir Cricket ke kisi spin baller ki tarah kohni ghumati hai. Even touchscreen smartphone par bhi aise hi karti hai. Aisa ungli karna zaruri hai kya?

Makers ko woh comedy lagta hai iskiye dikhate hain.But viewers find it silly.Nobody dials a phone like that. Even my uneducated grand mother dials phone normally.

Around 30 years ago people used to have landlines of very old style..if u have seen old movies.u would have seen those metallic landlines.

Daya jo action use karti h phone lagane main..un phones main yahi use hota tha..Finger se dial karna padta tha...so to prove her a rural lady who have yet not adapted herself in modern age and is habitual of the old ways...they have kept this...!!!

I don't understand why this character of Daya refuses to learn anything from the other society members. She has been projected as ' adarsh bharatiya nari' in the show but she never accepts anything from others. Its only me and my mother who says this and says that. Her mOther never taught her to learn new things ?

I have always wondered how come she fails to understand that congratulations and Kangarosason aren't the same word.

its so silly and doesnt make any sense .. the old dialers wale phone outdated hoke bhi 20-25 saal ho gaye ... most mannerisms done by daya are really loud and make no sense at all ... fault is with the makers but as an actor portraying it some blame lies with disha vakani also ... same is the case with sodhi bhai's over the top comments ...har baat pe aise khush hote hein jaise world cup jeet liya ho
