OMG! Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Anupama Chopra and son down with swine flu

The trio fell ill soon after Vidhu launched the screenplays of three Guru Dutt classics

In a shocking turn of events, filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra and his wife movie critic and journalist Anupama Chopra and son Agni Chopra were detected with the swine flu. While Anupama is recuperating at home, Vidhu and Agni have been admitted to the Jaslok hospital.

A source from the hospital informed, "They have been making good progress and are likely to be discharged by Sunday."

According to sources, the three fell ill right after Vidhu launched the screenplays of three Guru Dutt classics and also hosted a panel of discussion featuring filmamkers Anurag Kashyap, Farhan Akhtar and Dibakar Banerjee- all three of whom are great fans of the late filmmaker.

Three day ago Anupama had even tweeted that she was down with the swine flu. her tweet read, "Folks, I have been felled by swine flu. So no reviews this week. Do send me yours - tell me what I missed!"

Reportedly, Sonam Kapoor too has been diagnosed with the virus while she was shooting for her upcoming film, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in Gondal, Gujarat and the actress was admitted to the Sterling hospital in Rajkot.
